  • Publication number: 20240119753
Abstract: A method includes transmitting a request for a computer-readable routing diagram, such as a wiring diagram, a pneumatic or hydraulic line diagram, or an optical cable diagram. The method also includes receiving, in response to the request, a routing diagram including a connectable component and at least a portion of a routing set. The connectable component is associated with both a connectable component identifier and the routing set. The routing set contains one or more routable components, such as electrical circuits, pneumatic or hydraulic lines, or optical cables. Further, the method includes displaying, on a display, the routing diagram and at least the portion of the routing set highlighted. Displaying at least the portion of the routing set highlighted occurs in response to an occurrence of the connectable component being selected from the routing diagram displayed on the display or in response to the request including the connectable component identifier.

  • Patent number: 11934740
Abstract: Methods, systems and apparatus for associating electronic devices together based on received audio commands are described. Methods for associating an audio-controlled device with a physically separate display screen device such that information responses can then be provided in both audio and graphic formats using the two devices in conjunction with each other are described. The audio-controlled device can receive audio commands that can be analyzed to determine the author, which can then be used to further streamline the association operation.

  • Patent number: 11840810
Abstract: When removing portions of a work surface at a worksite with a machine (e.g., such as a cold planer), is useful to know the actual cut depths on each edge of the cold planer and/or the volume of material that has been removed from a work surface. However, determining actual cut depths and/or volume removed is difficult, costly, and can be inaccurate, resulting in increased costs and inefficiencies at the worksite. Accordingly, the present disclosure describes systems and methods for enabling automatic control of cut depth of a machine via a machine-controlled feedback loop and improved determinations of actual volume of material removed by the machine.

  • Patent number: 11774959
Abstract: A system includes one or more processors configured to generate recommended machine settings associated with machine operating parameters. The system receives sensor data associated with an environment of a machine. Based on the sensor data, the system determines one or more settings associated with operating parameters for the machine, to optimize the efficiency thereof. The system causes a recommendation to apply the setting to be presented on a display associated with the machine, such as for an operator to accept. In some examples, the operator manually applies the setting(s). In some examples, the system causes a computing device of the machine to apply the setting(s). The system may continuously and/or periodically provide recommendations as conditions in the environment change.

  • Publication number: 20230277069
Abstract: Generally, the present disclosure is directed to systems and methods for measuring heart rate and respiratory rate using a camera such as, for example, a smartphone camera or other consumer-grade camera. Specifically, the present disclosure presents and validates two algorithms that make use of smartphone cameras (or the like) for measuring heart rate (HR) and respiratory rate (RR) for consumer wellness use. As an example, HR can be measured by placing the finger of a subject over the rear-facing camera. As another example, RR can be measured via a video of the subject sitting still in front of the front-facing camera.

  • Publication number: 20230242895
Abstract: Provided are nucleic acid molecules, including vectors and plasmids, encoding modified u-PA polypeptides and fusion proteins containing the modified u-PA polypeptides. The u-PA polypeptides are modified to have altered activity and/or specificity so that they cleave a complement protein, such as complement protein C3, to thereby inhibit complement activation. The nucleic acids and encoded modified u-PA polypeptides and fusion proteins that inhibit complement activation can be used for treatment of diseases and conditions that are mediated by complement activation, or in which complement activation plays a role. These disorders include ischemic and reperfusion disorders, including myocardial infarction and stroke, sepsis, autoimmune diseases, diabetic retinopathies, age-related macular degeneration, transplanted organ rejection, inflammatory diseases and diseases with an inflammatory component.

  • Patent number: 11716772
Abstract: System and method enable rapid prototyping of an Internet of Things (IoT) device equipped with a modem. The system creates an abstraction layer subsuming a modem AT command set, where the abstraction layer provides a higher-level functionality than the modem AT command set. A function associated with the abstraction layer includes multiple function calls to the modem AT command set. The system can receive an input indicating an instruction to initiate a connection between the modem and a telecommunication network. The system can invoke a particular function associated with the abstraction layer to establish the connection between the modem and the telecommunication network.
