Abstract: An aqueous liquid detergent comprising an anionic surfactant, a nonionic surfactant, an alkyl glucoside, a soap of an unsaturated or saturated fatty acid, a polyhydric alcohol and from about 10 to about 20% by weight of citric acid or an alkali metal salt thereof.

Abstract: A process for preparing a storage-stable and free-flowing concentrated water-based liquid detergent containing 15 to 35% by weight of anionic surfactant, 20 to 35% by weight of nonionic surfactant, and from 5 to 20% by weight of alcohol. A dilute sodium hydroxide solution is heated to 70.degree. to 85.degree. C. to which is added a fatty acid and the alcohol. The mixture is stirred at 350 to 500 r.p.m. for 3 to 10 minutes. The anionic surfactant and nonionic surfactant are added to the mixture and stirred at 150 to 350 r.p.m.

Abstract: A concentrated aqueous liquid detergent containing 8 to 25% by weight of a C.sub.12-18 alkane sulfonate, 21 to 32% by weight of an ethoxylated fatty alcohol, 5 to 10% by weight of a partly esterified copolymer, and optionally 1 to 22% by weight other surfactants. The partially esterified copolymer is a copolymer of a C.sub.4-26 olefin or a mixture of a C.sub.4-28 olefin and up to 20 mole percent of a C.sub.1-28 alkyl vinyl ether, and an ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic anhydride having from 4 to 8 carbon atoms.

Abstract: A bleaching liquid detergent composition containing(A) 3 to 9% by weight of a C.sub.12-18 alkyl sulfate in the form of the sodium or potassium salt,(B) 8 to 20% by weight, based on free fatty acid, of a saturated or unsaturated sodium or potassium soap,(C) 0.3 to 3% by weight of an alkyl glucoside corresponding to the formula RO(G).sub.x, wherein R is a C.sub.8-18 alkyl radical, G is a glucose unit and x is a number of 1 to 10,(D) 8 to 18% by weight of an ethoxylated C.sub.12-18 alcohol containing on average 5 to 9 moles ethylene oxide,(E) 2 to 10% by weight hydrogen peroxide,(F) 0.3 to 2% by weight citric acid present as Na or K citrate, and(G) the balance, a solvent mixture consisting of water and monohydric or polyhydric alcohols containing 2 to 6 carbon atoms.

Abstract: A phosphate-free liquid detergent containing anionic and nonionic surfactants, zeolite, and electrolyte system selected from carbonates, sulfates, chlorides, acetates and citrates with the proviso that the electrolyte system contain at least one carbonate and one sulfate, and water.

Abstract: Soiled textile articles are washed by the addition of a determined amount of a detergent concentrate containing surfactants to the textile articles to be cleaned while the textiles are dry or only damp. The aqueous washing liquor is formed by the gradual addition of water to the textile articles while they are rotated. At room temperature, the detergent concentrate is to a substantial extent a paste-to dough-like substance, stable in form, and is applied to the textile articles in such an amount that the major portion of the surfactants together with further detergent constituents, if desired, are applied to the textiles or on an article of textile provided with markings for the correct detergent dose, as a dosing aid.

Abstract: Fabric softeners for the treatment of fabrics after washing contain as active constituents a combination of one or more sulfonic acids or phosphonic acids and amines or quaternary ammonium compounds thereof bearing a long alkyl or alkenyl radical. This combination of active constituents is readily and inexpensively obtainable and provides the treated fabrics with a soft, full feel.

Abstract: A liquid fabric treatment composition comprising aliphatic hydrocarbon, fatty acid, fatty acid salt, fatty acid ester, and a fatty acid condensate of a natural fat and hydroxyalkyl polyamine in aqueous medium. The composition provides washed fabrics treated therewith with softness and smoothness which, particularly, makes large articles of washing easier to iron by hand ironing or by rotary ironing.

Abstract: Fabric softeners intended for the treatment of fabrics after washing are disclosed. These softeners contain as active substance a combination of carboxylic acids and amines and/or quaternary ammonium compounds containing a long chain alkyl or alkenyl radical and comprise:(a) one or more amines corresponding to general formulae (I) and/or (II) below: ##STR1## in which: R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 may be the same or different and, independently of one another, represent hydrogen, straight-chain or branched C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 alkyl radicals, in addition to which R.sup.2 may represent a hydroxy group or a group corresponding to the following formula: ##STR2## where: R.sup.5 is hydrogen or a straight-chain or branched C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl radical; andR.sup.3 and R.sup.4 may be the same or different and, independently of one another, represent hydrogen, staight-chain or branched C.sub.1 -C.sub.

Abstract: Detergents on the basis of anionic and nonionic surfactants contain as laundering power-enhancing additives an aliphatic amine compound which is selected such that its pK.sub.b value is at least equal to 14, minus the initial pH value of a 1% aqueous solution of the detergent containing the amine compound. Laundering power-enhancing amine compounds selected according to the rule mentioned are certain ether amines, amidoamines, glucamine derivatives or morpholine derivatives.
