  • Publication number: 20090083710
Abstract: A software demonstration may be created by capturing screenshots of normal use of an application. The authoring tool may capture a screenshot upon detecting an input. Before capturing the screenshot, the authoring tool may delay for a pre-determined and/or user-configurable period of time to allow the computer display to be refreshed. The authoring tool may provide a cue to inform the user of the timing of the screenshot acquisition. If a screenshot is mistimed, it may be replaced without interrupting the flow of the software demonstration. Screenshots may be linked to one another using clickable hotspots. The hotspots may be used in presenting the software demonstration to provide for a realistic presentation of a software product. The authoring tool may publish the software demonstration in a web accessible format to a network accessible storage location to allow reviewers to comment on the demonstration. An author may access the presentation to review commentary on the demonstration.

  • Publication number: 20040131752
Abstract: Melt-resistant fudge articles including a liquid fat component, such as an oil in an amount sufficient to minimize external adhesiveness of the article, a matrix of sugar crystals including a plurality of pores sized and shaped sufficiently to retain the liquid fat component by capillary attraction and being present in an amount sufficient so that the sugar crystals are temporarily bound to each other at temperatures up to about 40° C., and an emulsifier component to facilitate formation of the liquid fat component into droplets of at least substantially uniform size, wherein the article is substantially free of added moisture and has a glossy appearance resembling that of chocolate and wherein the article substantially retains its shape and appearance at temperatures up to about 40° C. yet is flowable at more elevated temperatures to facilitate processing thereof.

  • Patent number: 4970086
Abstract: An expanded low density snack food product is prepared by first aerating a plastic mass of an edible particulate snack food base material, an edible film forming material, an edible viscosity modulator, an edible protein and water. The aerated mass then is heated in a chamber for setting the mass while applying a vacuum in the chamber for expanding the aerated mass, after which the vacuum is released, and the expanded mass is removed from the chamber.
