Abstract: An interactive educational apparatus is described. The educational toy apparatus includes an indicium containing structure and a base unit capable of being vertically attached to a vertical surface such as a refrigerator door. The indicium containing structure is capable of being attached to the base unit so that the indicium containing structure and the base unit are vertically oriented.

Abstract: An interactive apparatus including a reflective member is disclosed. The reflective member includes a first image and a second image, wherein the reflective member is at least partially reflective. The apparatus also includes a first element coupled to a first sensor, the first sensor being activated by the first element, and a second element coupled to a second sensor, the second sensor being activated by the second element. Activation of the first sensor causes the first image to appear in the reflective member at a first location and activation of the second sensor causes the second image to appear in the reflective member at a second location.

The ends of each of the u-shaped tubes of the upper frame are connected to each post so as to be able to rotate about the posts. Located on each post is a slider which can slide up and down the post. Each slider is held in place by a button on each post. Diagonal support braces connect the sliders to each of the u-shaped tubes of the upper frame. When the play yard is in use, the upper frame is supported by the two vertical posts and the diagonal support braces located on either side of the play yard. The lower end of each post is connected to two opposing cantilevered legs at a hub. Each of the legs is substantially u-shaped and is pivotally connected at the hub in order to be able to rotate about the posts.

Abstract: A safety side rail for a bed is disclosed comprising a side panel supported by a pair of spaced-apart foot members, each adapted to be inserted under a side edge of the bed mattress. The side panel is supported by one end of the foot members, and is movable relative to the foot members via a coupling between a safe-closed position, in which the side panel is fixedly held in a position above the mattress for blocking or preventing a child from falling off the mattress, and an open position, in which the side panel is positioned below the top of the mattress allowing access to the child.
