  • Publication number: 20180373276
Abstract: A method for determining parameters for one or more air-cooling mechanisms for a computer system. A current operating temperature of a system component within a particular system is determined. A maximum operating temperature of the system component is obtained. A difference value between the maximum operating temperature and the current operating temperature is computed. A parameter of an air-cooling mechanism of an environment, which includes the system component, is selected and modified based on the differmce value between the maximum operating temperature and the current operating temperature.

  • Patent number: 10114381
Abstract: Autoland systems and processes for landing an aircraft without pilot intervention are described. In implementations, the autoland system includes a memory operable to store one or more modules and at least one processor coupled to the memory. The processor is operable to execute the one or more modules to identify a plurality of potential destinations for an aircraft. The processor can also calculate a merit for each potential destination identified, select a destination based upon the merit; receive terrain data and/or obstacle data, the including terrain characteristic(s) and/or obstacle characteristic(s); and create a route from a current position of the aircraft to an approach fix associated with the destination, the route accounting for the terrain characteristic(s) and/or obstacle characteristic(s). The processor can also cause the aircraft to traverse the route, and cause the aircraft to land at the destination without requiring pilot intervention.

  • Publication number: 20170224800
Abstract: Disclosed are methods of isolating T cells having antigenic specificity for a mutated amino acid sequence encoded by a cancer-specific mutation, the method comprising: identifying one or more genes in the nucleic acid of a cancer cell of a patient, each gene containing a cancer-specific mutation that encodes a mutated amino acid sequence; inducing autologous APCs of the patient to present the mutated amino acid sequence; co-culturing autologous T cells of the patient with the autologous APCs that present the mutated amino acid sequence; and selecting the autologous T cells. Also disclosed are related methods of preparing a population of cells, populations of cells, pharmaceutical compositions, and methods of treating or preventing cancer.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods of isolating a TCR having antigenic specificity for a mutated amino acid sequence encoded by a cancer-specific mutation, the method comprising: identifying one or more genes in the nucleic acid of a cancer cell of a patient, each gene containing a cancer-specific mutation that encodes a mutated amino acid sequence; inducing autologous APCs of the patient to present the mutated amino acid sequence; co-culturing autologous T cells of the patient with the autologous APCs that present the mutated amino acid sequence; selecting the autologous T cells; and isolating a nucleotide sequence that encodes the TCR from the selected autologous T cells, wherein the TCR has antigenic specificity for the mutated amino acid sequence encoded by the cancer-specific mutation. Also disclosed are related methods of preparing a population of cells, populations of cells, TCRs, pharmaceutical compositions, and methods of treating or preventing cancer.

  • Publication number: 20140289259
Abstract: A set of electronic communications of different types that the user has sent and/or received, such as email messages, text messages, instant messages, and so forth is obtained. The set of electronic communications can be obtained in various manners, such as by searching the electronic communications of the user for those electronic communications that satisfy user provided search criteria. The electronic communications in the set of electronic communications are ranked according to various social cues that provide an indication of how the user interacts with individuals that are the senders or recipients of the electronic communications.
