  • Publication number: 20070047655
Abstract: A transpose buffer may store 8×8 and smaller sized blocks of video data. When the smaller sized blocks arrive, they can be reconfigured to fit within the available space within the buffer.

  • Publication number: 20060222000
Abstract: An embodiment includes an apparatus that includes a decoder to receive a compressed bit stream that is based on a coding standard. The decoder includes a hardware accelerator to decode a part of the compressed bit stream that is based on an operation that is common across multiple coding standards that includes the coding standard. The decoder also includes a programmable element to decode a part of the compressed bit stream that is based on an operation that is specific to the coding standard.

  • Publication number: 20050240820
Abstract: A device having at least one processor connected a controller and a memory; where the controller to execute a debug process. The debug process attaches a breakpoint bit field to each instruction. A system having image signal processors (ISPs), each ISP including processor elements (PEs). The ISPs include a debug instruction register connected to a first mux element. An instruction memory is connected to an instruction register. A decoder is connected to the instruction register. An execution unit is connected to the decoder. A debug executive unit is connected to the instruction memory, and a second mux element is connected to the execution unit and local registers. The decoder decodes a breakpoint bit field of each instruction.

  • Publication number: 20020174387
Abstract: A stealth module is either integrated as hardware logic into or attached as an external module to a bus analyzer, wherein the module electrically and logically isolates the analyzer from the bus being tested whereby the bus being tested is not affected by the presence of the analyzer with respect to bus topology, data transmission, bus bandwidth, and power usage, and furthermore, isolation is single directional so as to allow the analyzer to capture packets on the bus being tested.

  • Patent number: 5239318
Abstract: A driver for the finger electrodes in a charge-deposition print cartridge controls the finger potential between a printing and a non-printing state. All fingers are reset at once by a common power source, to which each is connected by a diode. Charge storage provided in each finger electrode line keeps the finger at a back-biased potential without deterioration by crosstalk until it is next positively driven to a printing state. Binary-coded drive data is checked for errors at the input, and the charge delivered to each finger is monitored at the output to identify data transmission or cartridge electrode faults.

  • Patent number: 4839671
Abstract: Ionographic raster scan printing apparatus capable of printing with selectable print density utilizes an imaging drum having a surface movable in a process direction, a connector assembly for receiving an imaging module having a characteristic dot density determined by a set of control electrodes individually driven by clocked driver elements, a sensor module for generating density signals representative of the characteristic dot density, and a position encoder for generating position signals representative of the instantaneous position of the imaging drum surface. A scan clock synthesizer module generates activation signals for clocking the driver elements, the signals having a clock frequency proportional to an algebraic combination of the density signals and the position signals.
