  • Publication number: 20240094233
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods, devices and systems for associating consumable data with an assay consumable used in a biological assay. Provided are assay systems and associated consumables, wherein the assay system adjusts one or more steps of an assay protocol based on consumable data specific for that consumable. Various types of consumable data are described, as well as methods of using such data in the conduct of an assay by an assay system. The present invention also relates to consumables (e.g., kits and reagent containers), software, data deployable bundles, computer-readable media, loading carts, instruments, systems, and methods, for performing automated biological assays.

  • Patent number: 9049142
Abstract: In one embodiment, a technique enables protection, e.g., Fast Reroute (FRR) protection, for selective traffic in an area of a computer network. A source node, located at an edge or perimeter of a network area or located in the core of the network area, may utilize one of a plurality of labels when forwarding traffic to a destination node, wherein a first label (“a protected label”) indicates that traffic receive FRR protection and a second label (“an unprotected label”) indicates that that traffic not receive FRR protection.

  • Patent number: 8644315
Abstract: In one embodiment, a device of a particular non-backbone routing domain in a computer network determines whether each of one or more routes is reachable within the particular non-backbone domain. The device may then generate a filtered set of label mappings having only those of the one or more routes reachable within the particular non-backbone domain. Accordingly, the device may advertise label mappings only of the filtered set to one or more neighboring devices.

  • Patent number: 8576708
Abstract: In one embodiment, certain SRLGs associated with members of a bundle are deemed to be “risk-free SRLGs”, i.e., SRLGs whose failure may not substantially impact the capacity of the bundle to carry traffic in a computer network. In a bandwidth unaware embodiment a number of active members of the bundle is identified for each SRLG, and a bandwidth aware embodiment further specifies an available bandwidth capacity for each SRLG to determine risk-free SRLGs. A backup path or tunnel may be established and utilized to protect a communication link as long as the SRLGs shared are deemed to be risk-free SRLGs.

  • Patent number: 7843918
Abstract: In one embodiment, an autoroute filter list may be configured with a list of traffic identifiers. Accordingly, at a tunnel head-end node, an autoroute operation may be performed to configure the routing of all traffic in a network onto an appropriate tunnel except for traffic identified in the autoroute filter list.
