  • Patent number: 8087313
Abstract: Some embodiments relate to methods and processes for determining how a range of weather conditions can affect a selected physical parameter of a material. In some embodiments the weather conditions can include relative humidity and/or temperature, and the selected physical parameter can be mass and or dimensions. For instance, some embodiments can be used to estimate the amount of water that a material may be expected to absorb under in-service conditions. In some embodiments the amount of water can defined by a range bounded by amounts observed at opposing extremes of simulated conditions.

  • Publication number: 20090252661
Abstract: A fuel reformer includes a reforming portion having a tubular catalytic converter that is composed of a substrate supporting the catalytic component, and is arranged to have a center axis extending along the supply direction of the fuel and oxidizer derived from a supply portion, and a communication passage arranged along an inner wall of the catalytic converter and communicating with the supply portion. The fuel and oxidizer supplied from the supply portion to the communication passage pass from the inner wall of the catalytic converter to an outer wall thereof by forced convection, thereby reforming the fuel.

  • Publication number: 20080138609
Abstract: This disclosure is directed to a plastic composition for use on an automotive vehicle including an infrared reflective pigment, and a thermoplastic component. The plastic composition with the infrared reflective component therein increases reflectance by at least about 300% in the spectrum between about 750 nm and about 2500 nm wavelength over a color matched plastic composition containing no infrared reflective pigment, and provides a delta T of at least about 15 C. over a color matched plastic composition containing no infrared reflective pigment under the procedures set forth in the ASTM Standard D 4803-97 test method. The plastic composition also provides a method of reducing the heat build-up of a plastic automotive vehicle part when the plastic automotive vehicle part is exposed to an infrared radiation source.

  • Patent number: 7339598
Abstract: Automated electronic document design systems and methods for combining identified images and layouts into electronic product templates for displaying to a user. A plurality of images and a plurality of layouts are retained. Stored images are identified based on keyword input by the user. Stored layouts contain one or more image containers and are identified based on product type and number of layout images input by the user. Images and layout image containers are designed to use pre-determined standard sizes to facilitate modularity and the ready combination of images and layouts.

  • Patent number: 7331002
Abstract: Provided is a method, system, and program for navigating breakpoints in a program in a debugging mode. A user interface is rendered to display at least one program corresponding to at least one object file being executed in a debugging mode. A list is maintained of breakpoints in the at least one program. Code is rendered from one program including a selected first breakpoint. User input is received to access a second breakpoint and a selection is made from the list of the second breakpoint in one of the program.

  • Patent number: 7328429
Abstract: A tool that enables a user to perform instruction operand tracing during debug is presented. While executing microcode on a simulator, a history of register and memory values is saved. A graphic user interface uses these values to present a view of the microcode in a thread history. The user can use the thread history to select any given cycle time of the simulation, and switch over to a thread window (or code list view). The instruction that executed at the cycle of interest is marked in the code list view, and right-clicking on the code line, the user is given options, including an option to jump backward in time to the code line where a source variable was set and/or the option to jump forward in time to a code line that used a result variable.

  • Publication number: 20060191105
Abstract: A toolbox has a novel reverse deadbolt for a latch and hinge. The latch engaging mechanism has attached deadbolts or latching rods which are linearly opposed to each other. Each latch rod mechanism has a hook on the end. This hook effectively reverses the direction of the deadbolt. Thus, when engaged the deadbolt locks around the receiver pins and moves inward. The hinge has a first first engaging face that is generally concave radially around a longitudinal axis, and a second engaging face that is generally convex radially around the longitudinal axis. The engaging faces rotate relative to one another around the longitudinal axis in cooperation sufficiently close to allow water to enter them. A passage in the second element is disposed to drain fluid from a fluid communication with the engagement between the engaging faces.
