Patent number: 12260504Abstract: A method and system for performing dynamic provisioning of augmented reality information is provided. The method includes acquiring, from a user device of a user, user device-based information, retrieving rebate information corresponding to the user device-based information, and retrieving user information of the user of the user device. Based on the acquired and retrieved information, the method further tracks movement or activity of the user device, and determines whether a predetermined condition is met. When the predetermined condition is determined to have been met, the method displays one or more rebates in augmented reality over image information displayed on a display of the user device. However, when the predetermined condition is determined not to have been met, the method continues the tracking of movement or activity of the user device until the predetermined condition is determined to be met.Type: GrantFiled: November 16, 2022Date of Patent: March 25, 2025Assignee: JPMORGAN CHASE BANK, N.A.Inventors: Alexander Buts, Anitha Srinivasan, Steven Weiner, Tyrone Saunders, Andrew Tayag Rodriguez, Jonathan Leach, Eric Bikorimana, Aniella Arantes, Rocky Maufort

Patent number: 12248474Abstract: Described are systems and methods that suggest candidate recipients to receive an object identifier from a first user. For example, a first user, independent of a conversation with a second user, may select, close-up, or otherwise view an object identifier. The system, upon detecting the interaction with the object identifier by the first user, may determine one or more second users to suggest to the first user as candidate recipients with which the first user can share the viewed object identifier. The systems and methods may also suggest object identifiers to share with a selected recipient and/or determine two or more users that have a common connection and share an object identifier related to the connection with each of those users.Type: GrantFiled: April 8, 2024Date of Patent: March 11, 2025Assignee: Pinterest, Inc.Inventors: Hayder Casey, Naveen Gavini, Daniel Isaac Lurie, Ryan Wilson Probasco, Angel Steger, Martin Eric Weiner, Jr.

Publication number: 20240307611Abstract: A wearable fluid delivery system comprising a single-use device with a tube, a pump, and a nutrition container with a fluid. The system further includes a module including a processor, a battery, and an electric motor with an output member. The processor is configured to operate the electric motor. The single-use device is releasably coupled to the module such that the output member is coupled to the pump when the single-use device is coupled to the module, and the output member drives the pump to cause the fluid to travel through the tube.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 22, 2024Publication date: September 19, 2024Inventors: Joseph Neal Piper, James Landon Gilkey, Brian Bergeron, Hill Johnson, Martin Eric Weiner

Publication number: 20230350182Abstract: Microscope imaging and illumination systems and methods are included that may be used to image multiple specimens at different locations relative to a specimen fixture without the need for repositioning a source of illumination. In some cases, light patterns emitted from illumination screens may be repositioned and reconfigured electronically as needed with an illumination signal communicated to such illumination screens. Specialized microscope imaging techniques such as phase contrast microscopy may also be used with the systems and methods discussed herein.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 10, 2023Publication date: November 2, 2023Inventors: Chris SHUMATE, Robert K. LEVIN, Eric WEINER

Publication number: 20170063753Abstract: Described are systems and methods for determining object identifiers to suggest to a first user for use in including in a communication with a second user. For example, a first user (sending user) may be communicating in an Internet based social community with a second user (receiving user) via a chat messaging interface. As part of that communication, the first user may desire to send, present or otherwise share an object identifier, such as an image of an object, with the second user. In suggesting an object identifier, the context of the communication may be determined and object identifiers associated with the sending user that are relevant to the communication may be determined and suggested to the sending user.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 27, 2015Publication date: March 2, 2017Inventors: Ryan Wilson Probasco, Martin Eric Weiner, JR., Naveen Gavini

Publication number: 20140279220Abstract: A computer-implemented method of providing customers a vendor's location and service hours is disclosed. The method includes collecting a number of vendors' information, including the vendors' locations. The vendors' locations are translated into latitude and longitude coordinates. The vendors' information and coordinates are stored in a database. A visitor is presented with a search box. The visitor's location is calculated and presented as a default address. A search is conducted in the database for vendors based on search criteria provided by the visitor.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 13, 2014Publication date: September 18, 2014Inventors: Eric Weiner, Stephen Cross

Publication number: 20080107606Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for preparing a bifunctional chelator for lanthanide. The method comprises the steps of providing a starting material which has an amino and carboxyl group; protecting the amino with an amino protecting group and the carboxyl with a carboxyl protecting group to produce a protected compound; reacting the protected compound with cyclen to generate a monoalkylated cyclen; reacting the monoalkylated cyclone with an activated compound to generated tetra-alkylated cyclone; removing the amino protecting group with a first protecting group removal reagent; and removing the carboxyl protecting groups with a second protecting group removal reagent to yield a bifunctional chelator having three more carboxyl groups and one or more amino groups.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 2, 2007Publication date: May 8, 2008Inventors: Douglas GROTJAHN, Eric Weiner
