  • Patent number: 11222005
Abstract: Techniques for proactively detecting configuration inconsistencies may include: receiving notification regarding an occurrence of a trigger event in a system, wherein the trigger event is one of a plurality of defined trigger events, and wherein the plurality of defined trigger events include one or more defined time periods; and responsive to receiving the notification, performing first processing including: capturing configuration information describing a current configuration of the system; and performing proactive consistency validation processing of the configuration information that detects inconsistencies between dependent entities of the current configuration. The proactive consistency validation processing may detect inconsistencies between dependent entities of the same type or different types. Metadata may identify dependencies between entities that may exist in a configuration. Responsive to detecting an inconsistency, a suitable action may be taken and/or user notified.

  • Publication number: 20210393376
Abstract: Attachments for tooth movements are described herein where the orthodontic attachments may be formed by obtaining a digital model of a dentition of a subject and digitally placing one or more attachments upon the digital model for imparting one or more preselected movements to the dentition. A finite element model may be formed with one or more forces applied to the dentition and an initial stress map may be created to impart upon the dentition based on the finite element model. A subsequent stress map may be predicted using, e.g., machine learning, to achieve the one or more preselected movements.

  • Patent number: 10884774
Abstract: Examples relate to deploying distributed applications using virtual nodes. In some examples, virtual nodes are created and are each assigned a core subset of a number of processing cores, an Internet protocol (IP) address, and an in-memory file system configured to provide access to a portion of physically shared memory. At this stage, a distributed application that is configured to be deployed to a plurality of machine nodes is deployed to the plurality of virtual nodes. On a first virtual node, a reference to a first dataset stored in physically shared memory is sent to a second virtual node, where the physically shared memory is accessible to each of the plurality of virtual nodes. Next, on the second virtual node, the first dataset is accessed through the in-memory file system of the first virtual node.
