  • Publication number: 20100026270
Abstract: The embodiment of invention discloses an average input current limit method and apparatus thereof. The apparatus comprises a switching circuit, a current average circuit and a current limit circuit. The current average circuit samples the input current of the switching circuit and generates a signal representative of the average value of the input current. The current limit circuit limits the signal so as to limit the average value of the input current.

  • Publication number: 20090140655
Abstract: A CCFL inverter circuit integrates a feedback circuit and protection circuit together. For both in-phase and out-of-phase applications, sensed lamp voltages can be used for open lamp and short lamp detection and sensed currents can be used for open lamp detection. The driving circuit adjusts the open lamp frequency by using a duty cycle control signal so that the driving circuit can always achieve the desired lamp voltage gain.

  • Publication number: 20090032483
Abstract: A chip stacker for a stack of chips includes an elongated chip counter having an upper end and a bottom end to define a height between the upper and bottom end corresponding to an integer number of the chips in a stacking manner. The chip counter has a plurality of longitudinal edges extended from the upper end to the bottom end and a plurality of guiding sidewalls formed between every two of the longitudinal edges, wherein each of the guiding sidewalls has a stacking surface has a predetermined curvature matching with a curvature of the chip, in such a manner that the chip counter is adapted for not only precisely counting the chips between the upper and bottom ends the chip counter but also easily stacking up the chips in an ordered manner when the chips are biased against the stacking surfaces of the guiding sidewalls to space apart the stacked chips side-by-side.

  • Publication number: 20070086217
Abstract: The present invention discloses a DC/AC converter in the backlight power supply system using cold cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL). The DC/AC converter comprises a front end DC/DC converter, a full-bridge or half bridge inverter, and a piezoelectric transformer. Even with a wide range of input voltages, the front end DC/DC converter produces a predetermined DC voltage or a DC voltage with a predetermined small range and the cascaded inverter operates with a switching frequency close to the resonant frequency of the piezoelectric transformer, which helps the backlight power supply system achieve high efficiency.

  • Publication number: 20060199539
Abstract: A wireless audio transmitter is capable of converting audio signals into wireless Bluetooth signals. The transmitter comprises an ADC converting input analog audio signals into digital signals. A CPU outputs original data complying with Bluetooth communication protocols. The original data are sequentially processed by a Bluetooth base band processor and a Bluetooth RF processor, and are converted into RF signals. Finally, the RF signals are transmitted in a wireless microwave manner by an antenna.

  • Patent number: 6714426
Abstract: A multiple-phase power converter comprises a non-isolated, double-ended transformer having a plurality of windings, a high-side switch portion, a low-side switch portion, an output portion, and a controller. The high-side switch portion includes a first power switch connecting an input voltage source (VIN) to a virtual phase node through a first winding of the plurality of windings and a second power switch connecting the input voltage source to the virtual phase node through a second winding of the plurality of windings. The first and second windings are arranged with opposite polarity. The low-side switch portion includes a third power switch connecting the virtual phase node to ground through a third winding of the plurality of windings and a fourth power switch connecting the virtual phase node to ground through a fourth winding of the plurality of windings. The third and fourth windings are arranged with opposite polarity.

  • Publication number: 20020194008
Abstract: A contract management mechanism is disclosed for managing contracts in the software licensing and other arenas. The management mechanism may be used, for example, to manage one or more fulfillment contracts. In operation (assuming a software licensing implementation for the sake of example), the management mechanism receives an inquiry regarding licensing of a particular set of software under a particular contract (the contract entitles a customer to consume a certain quota of resources under the contract). In response to the inquiry, the management mechanism determines a licensing amount. This licensing amount may be determined based upon many factors, including the set of software selected, other parameters specified in the inquiry, and the terms associated with the contract.

In operation (assuming a software licensing implementation for the sake of example), the management mechanism receives an inquiry regarding licensing of a particular set of software under a particular contract (the contract entitles a customer to consume a certain quota of resources under the contract). This licensing amount may be determined based upon many factors, including the set of software selected, other parameters specified in the inquiry, and the terms associated with the contract. Once the licensing amount is determined, and the customer commits to licensing the software, the management mechanism reduces the quota parameter of the contract by the licensing amount and allows the software to be used under the contract.
