Abstract: A load bearing suspension system having a belt having one or more belt attachment devices; a harness having one or more harness attachment devices, wherein the number of harness attachment devices corresponds to the number of belt attachment devices, and wherein each harness attachment device is capable of being releasably attached to a corresponding else attachment device; and an overgarment, wherein the overgarment includes one or more apertures formed therein for allowing a harness attachment device to pass therethrough such that a harness attachment device is able to pass therethrough so as to be attached to a corresponding belt attachment device.

Abstract: Disclosed is a holster for a weapon such as a handgun which includes a body defining a cavity for receiving and holding the weapon, a hood assembly pivotably connected to the body, the hood assembly pivotable between a closed position for securing the weapon within the body cavity and an open position for removal of the weapon, a locking means securing the hood assembly in the closed position when a weapon is held in the body cavity, a release means associated with the locking means for releasing the hood assembly to the open position for removal of the weapon, and means for automatically pivoting the hood assembly to the closed position and thereby automatically engaging the locking means upon insertion of the weapon into the body cavity, wherein the locking means is biased to a locked configuration when the weapon is held in the body cavity.

Abstract: An improved holster holding device for fastening a holster onto a wearer includes a belt angle adjustment means for changing an angle between a belt and a belt plate. Holster adjustment means for changing an angle between a belt plate or clip-on plate and a holster are included. The holster adjustment means include arcuate slots for accepting fastening devices that fasten the holster to the belt or clip-on plate.
