Abstract: The present invention relates to methods, devices and systems for associating consumable data with an assay consumable used in a biological assay. Provided are assay systems and associated consumables, wherein the assay system adjusts one or more steps of an assay protocol based on consumable data specific for that consumable. Various types of consumable data are described, as well as methods of using such data in the conduct of an assay by an assay system. The present invention also relates to consumables (e.g., kits and reagent containers), software, data deployable bundles, computer-readable media, loading carts, instruments, systems, and methods, for performing automated biological assays.

  • Publication number: 20240062189
Abstract: A method for executing a transaction on a blockchain or other distributed ledger that enables a user holding only non-native tokens to execute the transaction. A backend wallet managed by a backend server maintains different native token types for different blockchain types and is used to execute the transaction on behalf of the user. The backend server then reconciles the cost with the user's own wallet.

  • Publication number: 20240062203
Abstract: A method for executing a transaction on a blockchain or other distributed ledger that reduces transaction gas fees. A backend server estimates gas fees based on recent successful transactions and obtains user approval before submitting the transaction to blockchain.

  • Publication number: 20240062192
Abstract: A method for using metadata to consolidate two transactions into one to execute a smart contract as a single transaction on a blockchain or other distributed ledger. Compared to the previous two-step smart contract execution process, this one-tap process (such as for staking an amount to a pool) allows specifying a predefined amount to execute instead of an exploitable infinite amount.

  • Publication number: 20240062204
Abstract: A method for executing a transaction on a blockchain or other distributed ledger that protects the user from other blockchain users attempting to front run or rerun an approved transaction. A backend server searches the blockchain for existing transactions that use the same approval.

  • Patent number: 11907936
Abstract: A method for securing a split private key (such as used with a cryptocurrency or other non-custodial electronic wallet) amongst a password, biometrics, and a social service. The process may use a sharding scheme such as Shamir's Secret Sharing to ensure that multiple key shards must be obtained before the entire private key can be obtained. The user may select the number of shards required to retrieve the private key thereby controlling the security of the account. An additional shard may be held on an encrypted server and allows for account recovery even while maintaining non-custodial ownership of the wallet.

  • Patent number: 11874387
Abstract: A processing system including at least one processor may obtain a location of a mobile device and a barometric pressure reading of the mobile device, identify a weather reference area and a ground reference area containing the location, and calculate an elevation of the mobile device from the barometric pressure reading of the mobile device and a barometric pressure metric of a weather reference point of the weather reference area, where the weather reference point has a predetermined elevation. The processing system may then determine a height of the mobile device over a ground level of the location based upon the elevation of the mobile device that is calculated and based upon an elevation of a ground reference area containing the location and provide a report of the location of mobile device including the height of the mobile device over the ground level that is determined.

  • Publication number: 20240013632
Abstract: An automatic feeder system may include: an input bin configured to store at least one physical request slip; a feeder unit; and a support frame. The feeder unit may include a feed neck operable to automatically obtain a physical request slip from the input bin and convey it out from an outlet of the feed neck. The support frame may support the feeder unit so that the outlet is configured to engage with an input of a retailer system engaged with the automatic feeder system such that conveyance of the physical request slip out from the outlet causes the physical request slip to enter the input of the retailer system and cause the retailer system to generate a physical ticket for the game of chance based on the physical request slip.
