  • Patent number: 11416264
Abstract: A method, a system and a computer program product for performing software configuration alignment. An indication of a source configuration change of one or more source computing processes of a source computing system is received from the source computing system. A determination is made whether the source configuration change is applicable to one or more target computing processes of a target computing system. The target computing system is communicatively coupled to the source computing system. Using the source configuration change, a target configuration change for implementation in the target computing processes of the target computing system is generated. The generated target configuration change is transmitted to the target computing system. The generated target configuration change is implemented in the target computing processes of the target computing system.

  • Patent number: 11048683
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing a database having a plurality of standard configuration settings are presented. Requests corresponding to modifications to some or all of the standard configuration settings are monitored during customization of the database. A determination of whether the modifications are allowed is made. Based on the determination, a message comprising allowance or denial for each of the modifications is generated. Data characterizing allowed modifications is logged. The logged data is used to update the database when the standard configuration settings of the database change as part of a database upgrade. Data characterizing the allowed modifications is extracted from the logged data and used to generate differences between a newer version of the database and an older version of the database.

  • Patent number: 5194665
Abstract: The ever increasing demands on dispersants, emulsifiers and formulation aids, in particular in the preparation of azo dyes and pigments and in the preparation of dye and pigment dispersions, made it necessary to develop novel surface-active compounds.According to the invention, it has been possible by esterification of hydroxynaphthalenecarboxylic acids (on the carboxyl) with fatty alcohols or preferably with alkoxylates of fatty acids, resin acids or alkylphenols, condensation of the resulting esterification products with aldehydes to give novolak resins with subsequent alkoxylation and esterification of terminal OH groups with resin acids, fatty acids, aromatic carboxylic acids and hydroxylcarboxylic acids with or without reaction with phthalic anhydride or maleic anhydride and sulfite to develop novel polyfunctional surfactant structures which are very highly suitable for a wide range of applications in dispersion and emulsification, in particular in the preparation and formulation of azo pigments.

  • Patent number: 5100989
Abstract: The invention relates to surface-active compounds of the general formula (I) ##STR1## in which Ar is an aromatic system which is optionally substituted by C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 -alkoxy, C.sub.2 -C.sub.5 -alkanoyl, C.sub.6 -C.sub.10 -aryl, (C.sub.6 -C.sub.10 -aryl)-C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, A has the formula --(X--O).sub.n --Y, wherein n denotes 1 to 50, X denotes ethylene or methylethylene and all or some of Y denote an acyl radical of a non-modified or modified natural resin acid and the other radicals Y denote radicals from the group comprising hydrogen, acyl radicals of saturated C.sub.1-24 -carboxylic acids, unsaturated C.sub.3-24 -carboxylic acids, C.sub.2-24 -hydroxy-fatty acids or C.sub.8-18 -alkyl-, -alkenyl- and -alkylidene-succinic acids, maleic acid, fumaric acid, sulfosuccinic acid, sulfuric acid, benzodicarboxylic acids and C.sub.1-16 -n-alkanedicarboxylic acids, W is a group --CHR-- or --CHR--N(R*)--T--N(R*)--CHR--, wherein R*is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, C.sub.2 -C.
