  • Publication number: 20050023225
Abstract: A net (10) for a body of water (12) that serves to collect flat objects (11), which are made of foamed plastic and which are saturated with contamination substances, is provided with a catching net part (13), which can be vertically placed in the body of water (12) by means of a longitudinally extending sink line (18) and of a longitudinally extending float line (21, 22). The aim of the invention is to be able to pull a net of the aforementioned type through the water while tensioned, whereby an upper area of the net always remains above the water surface even in rough water. To this end, the invention provides that the catching net part (13) is widened by a flexible net part (14) that, in the area of its free longitudinal edge, is fitted with a longitudinally extending sink line (32) and is fitted with at least one main float line (33) between said longitudinal edge and the upper float line (21, 22) of the catching net part (13).

  • Publication number: 20040222160
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the removal of contaminant layers from water surfaces by means of planar bodies, made from open-celled foam plastic, whereby the planar body is laid on the surface of the water and, after saturation thereof with the oil, is drawn in. In order to guarantee that, during such a process all planar bodies made from open-celled foam plastic directly reach the site of application, in other words the contaminated water surface, said planar body is paid out under water.

  • Patent number: 5074527
Abstract: A device for retrospectively drawing cables into cable protection pipes which are already provided with at least one cable. The device includes an elongated partition floor inserted into the protection pipes. The partition has a central region having an upper and a lower surface. On both sides of the partition, transverse to the central region, there is provided a hollow tubular longitudinal edge which determines the level of the partition floor in the protection pipes. The central region is provided at at least one of the upper and lower surfaces with at least one reinforcing rib extending in the longitudinal direction of the partition floor.

  • Patent number: 5029815
Abstract: The invention relates to a cable guide arrangement for the combined laying and guiding of copper cables or the like and light-conducting cables. The arrangement includes a cable duct and a cable guide unit having two cable guide pipes connected side-by-side to one another. The two cable guide pipes are rigidly connected to one another to provide a partition floor within the cable duct. The width of the partition floor is less than the internal diameter of the cable duct, and is such that the partition floor is movable within the cable duct so as to divide the space within the cable duct into two variable cable receiving spaces. The cable receiving spaces are varied so as to prevent a cable laid in one of the spaces from becoming jammed between the internal wall of the cable duct and the adjacent outer surface of a guide pipe.

  • Patent number: 4793594
Abstract: An apparatus (11) is described for the subsequent insertion of cables into ducts (14) provided for this purpose and already equipped with at least one cable. The apparatus (11) has an intermediate bottom (12) which is insertable into the duct (14) and is provided on both sides with a hollow bead-like longitudinal rim (18, 19), as a height guide, and on the front with a rotatable roller (26), as a cable guide. To enable simple insertion of the intermediate bottom (12) even in cable ducts (14) laid with relatively short radii of curvature, using an apparatus (11) of this kind, the bead-like longitudinal rims (18, 19) are provided with a hollow space (12) of circular cross section and with a slit (22) at one point on their circumference and extending over their entire length.
