    Abstract: A hydraulic press for metal working of end portions of rod-like or pipe-like metallic work pieces comprising a clamping device for arresting the work piece, and a hydraulic press cylinder, having piston rods which move toward the work piece. Working tools are disposed on the piston rods, and press cylinders are disposed on both sides of said clamping device, whereby the piston rods of the press cylinders are moved toward each other in a longitudinal direction of the work piece.
