Abstract: An interchangeable object mounting system is disclosed. The object mounting system comprises an object receptacle and an object. The object receptacle may be a front-, top-, or side-loading frame. The object has a flange portion adapted to fit into and be secured by the object receptacle, and a forward portion that, when the object is installed, is exposed by a central opening in the object receptacle and typically extends forwardly of the object receptacle. The object may be, for example, a working surface, such as a cork board or dry erase white board, a container, or an amusement device.
