  • Patent number: 5195837
Abstract: A matrix printer includes a plurality of components, an outer casing and a frame. A flexible ribbon is provided which connects a component with either the frame or casing in order to conduct heat awau from the component; the ribbon is compressed at its point of connection to establish a good heat conductive connection.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 16, 1992
Date of Patent: March 23, 1993
    Assignee: Mannesmann AG
    Inventors: Erich Steppe, Manfred Gruener
  • Patent number: 5032034
Abstract: A securing device for axles (2) in office machines, in particular in printers, with axle journals (2c), which axle journals (2c) are furnished with insertion grooves (2d) near their ends and which axles (2) are supported in side plane components (1) against an axial shifting by way of spring elements.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 4979835
Abstract: In a parallel setting device for a print head carriage guide relative to a print medium support (6) in printers, in particular in matrix printers, the print head carriage guide includes a parallel disposable and position adjustable carriage guide axle (5) relative to the print medium support (1) and disposed rearwards relative to the print medium support at the printer frame 1 and a front carriage guide axle (4) adjustable to a minimum distance and disposed opposite to the print medium support (6). The rear and the front carriage guide axle (4,5) in each case are supported in the side plate (2,3) of the printer frame (1). The print medium support (6) is disposed at a level different to that of the front carriage guide axle (4).

  • Patent number: 4936696
Abstract: Each of one or more groups of pressure rollers (24, 25), consisting of a plurality of pairs of rollers (26), is arranged on its own mounting frame (27) that is releasably carried on the connecting piece (4) of the printer frame (1). The mounting frames (27) are concurrently displaceable by means of a selectively adjustable displacement member (28) disposed parallel to the elongation of the platen roller (6) between a rest position and an operating position for accommodating both tractor-fed edge-perforated continuous forms and individual sheets of recording support material, respectively.

  • Patent number: 4930918
Abstract: In an office machine, in particular in a matrix printer which is provided with a power grid component (3) for the power supply of the electrical or, respectively, the electronic circuits and which includes a safety fuse on the power grid input side, there is disclosed for purposes of more clarity of the construction, for an easier operability and for protection against false connection, that a multiple safety fuse socket (6) for at least two melting safety fuse bodies (9, 10) is coordinated to a voltage selection switch (7). The multiple safety fuse socket (6) can be placed in different relative geometric positions with respect to the voltage selection switch (7) into a fuse socket (8). A selected voltage is coordinated at the voltage selection switch (7) in each position of the multiple safety fuse socket (6).

  • Patent number: 4896979
Abstract: A device for a paper transport in an office machine, in particular in a matrix printer, presupposes the presence of side plates (1, 2), wherein a print-support surface (7) is supported and, in addition, a friction drive including a roller pair for individual sheets (9) to be transported or, respectively, endless webs (10) without edge perforation, and tractors (13) provided in pairs, which operate in push and pull operation.
