Abstract: On a shipping pallet made of plastic, with two parallel surfaces forming its upper side and its underside respectively, whereby each surface is the outside of the base of two basic components permanently connected to one another, the bases of which are located at some distance from one another, the base of each basic component is a closed plate. The space between the bases of the basic components is bridged by a pair of strips parallel to one another and enclosing a groove between them. On both ends of each pair of strips the groove is closed by a cross member connecting the two bases to form a chamber. The space between the bases along the circumference of the pallet is closed by edge strips. The pallet is provided with feet projecting outward from a surface, and equipped with skids if necessary, and the two basic components are tightly connected to one another in the vicinity of the strips and cross member.

Abstract: The invention relates to the mixing of particulate materials with a given mixing ratio and as part of a plant and process requiring the materials, comprising the steps of metering the materials separately in respective metering units running at least substantially continuously, permitting the materials to fall freely onto a horizontal conveyor belt with a planar surface with a distribution of the materials over the belt, and supplying the materials in a further free fall to a further processing zone as part of the process.

Abstract: A shaft seal for machines processing synthetic resin under pressure and in a plastified condition has two sealing rings that contact each other along a sealing interface running out from the shaft axis. The sealing ring that is further from the housing containing the resin has means spring loading it towards the other sealing ring.

Abstract: An anti-friction bearing unit for a machine processing synthetic resin, and more specially one for the processing of scrap resin material at high pressures and temperatures, has rolling bodies placed between inner and outer running faces. The space between the running faces at an end of the bearing is, at operating temperatures, shut off apart from a small gap.
