  • Patent number: 6065854
Abstract: The LED modular display system includes a frame of support members of triangular cross sections. The frame supports a plurality of LED display modules which include a generally planar front face upon which an array of LEDs is placed. The LED display modules further include inwardly tapered vertical sidewalls and horizontal upper and lower trapezoidal faces. The support members of triangular cross section fit flush against the inwardly tapered vertical sidewalls of the LED display modules. Fasteners on the inwardly tapering walls of the LED display modules engage complementary elements on the support members.

  • Patent number: 5936247
Abstract: An apparatus for generating gamma transmission and gamma emission images simultaneously including two emission cameras disposed on opposite sides of an imaging area so as to oppose each other, a gamma line transmission source and a line detector positioned between the two emission cameras on opposite sides of the imaging area, at least one of the source or line detector being movable along a path that substantially traverses the distance between the two emission cameras. The two emission cameras, line source and line detector are all secured to the same gantry for rotation about the imaging area so that transmission and emission images can be generated simultaneously.

  • Patent number: 5866906
Abstract: An apparatus for generating gamma emission images including two gamma cameras mounted to a gantry wherein the gantry includes two moveable rings and a locking mechanism which can lock the two moveable rings together in one of two separate configurations. Each camera is mounted to a separate one of the two moveable rings and defines a camera axis, the two camera axes together defining a configuration angle and two different configuration angles are possible. By locking the two moveable rings together a single motor and associated hardware and software can be used to rotate both cameras about an imaging axis simultaneously.

  • Patent number: 5284046
Abstract: The invention relates to a calibration apparatus for control of propellant pumps, especially in the traffic sector, which apparatus is placed on a vehicle, especially a trailer. The apparatus (1) has at least one standard (10) for measuring a determined amount of propellant, and the standard is placed in a cardan suspension (49-52) which is elastically yielding (48) and may be locked during operation and during transport by means of supporting rods (53-59). A standard (10) is divided into a lower measuring compartment (11) and an upper foam top (14) which is connected tot he measuring compartment (11) through a neck (12) with a measuring glass (13) and reading lines (22). The foam top (14) is ventilated (35-37) to reception tank (5) placed at the bottom of the apparatus (1), and the standard (10) may be connected via a remote controlled discharge valve (20) to the reception tank (5) from which propellant may be pumped up into a buffer tank (64) at the top of the apparatus (1).

  • Patent number: 4732325
Abstract: An apparatus for cleaning surfaces by means of a jet of cleaning liquid comprises a sluicing pipe with a housing provided with a tiltably arranged nozzle assembly. The latter is adapted to perform oscillations by means of a hydraulic motor mounted in the housing and driven by the cleaning liquid flowing to the nozzle assembly. The nozzle assembly is located within the housing and comprises at its front end a contact surface, by means of which it is capable of tilting on the bearing surface provided with a discharge opening on a discharge member located at the outlet of the housing. The discharge member comprises a central flow channel for the cleaning liquid, and the discharge opening has a sectional area greater than the hole area of the nozzle assembly. As a result the reliability is increased, as the apparatus is self-adjusting with regard to the wear caused by the movement of the nozzle assembly. The apparatus is furthermore easily assembled.

  • Patent number: 4160995
Abstract: A color television receiver having a circuitry for automatically adjusting the cut-off points of the electron guns, i.e. for adjusting the bias of each electron gun to make the guns responsive to video signals in a constant manner, wherein the bias and the video signal are both applied to the cathode of each gun through a switch. In permanent connection with the cathode is mounted an integrator operable to adopt and substantially maintain the bias voltage upon said switch being switched off, and in series with the integrator is arranged a current amplifier for detecting the cathode current in said series connection upon the other end thereof being connected to ground simultaneously with the switching off of said switch.
