  • Patent number: 8876620
Abstract: An apparatus for improving a user's grip on a sports equipment handle is made of a single substantially resilient deformable planar sheet of non-slip material. The planar sheet has a narrower first end in which a finger hole is disposed, and a wider second cad. To use the apparatus, a user places the apparatus on a finger with the wider end oriented toward the finger tips. A handle is placed on the wider end, and rolled toward a user's palm, thereby securing the apparatus to the user's hand. The apparatus may be disengaged by simply relaxing the grip on the handle and allowing it to rotate out of the apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20120037164
Abstract: An apparatus and method for relieving discomfort arising from body aches and pains is disclosed, comprised of a cushion that may be placed on a mattress, sofa, or other furniture and covered with a sheet. Alternatively, said cushion can be part of a mattress, sofa, or other resting surface, including a pet bed. The inventive cushion further comprises compartments into which hard soaps substantially comprised of Sodium Tallowate are inserted. When a body part rests on the cushion with Sodium Tallowate hard soap, vapors form to relieve pain in the body part. Preferably, the cushion comprises multiple sets of large compartments, inside of which are four circular sub-compartments and a central compartment. Hard disc-shaped soaps comprising Sodium Tallowate are inserted into the four circular sub-compartments and vapors accumulate in the central compartment.

  • Patent number: 5367744
Abstract: The invention relates to a hinge connection which functions to connect a first structural part or panel with a second structural part or panel such that the two structural parts can pivot in relation to one another. The hinge connection includes a first hinge member which is attached to the first structural part and a second hinge member which is attached to the second structural part, and a band which extends between the hinge members, such as to form a hinge element. A first hinge element is intended to coact with one side part of the first structural part and the second side part of the second structural part, whereas a second hinge element is intended to coact with the one side part of the second structural part and the second side part of the first structural part. The band of the hinge element can be stretched to an adapted tension through the intermediary of one of the hinge members.

  • Patent number: 5115623
Abstract: A hinged three-dimensional display system primarily intended for advertising and display purposes, is constructed of bars or tubes and connecting pieces, the bars or tubes being pivoted to each other in pairs at their mid-points and forming crossing diagonal struts in the display system, wherein each pair of diagonal bars or tubes is either on a mutually parallel, horizontal plane or on a vertical plane that is at right angles to the former. The system is braced vertically by easily mountable and dismountable struts which are attached on the outside of the display system, on and between adjacent connecting pieces, and on the outward-facing side of which pictures, illustrative material etc. can be attached. Each connecting piece includes a central part having one end provided with four tangentially protruding pivot pins, lying in a single plane and located 90.degree. in relation to each other.
