  • Publication number: 20120304923
Abstract: Method and system for moving a frozen adhesive particle towards a target body, comprising launching means (13) which are arranged to launch the particle (2) in its frozen form towards the target body (3, 4) via a movement path (14) through a gap between the launching means and the target body. The medium in the gap may have a temperature above the adhesive particle's melting temperature. The launching means may be arranged to launch the particle at a high speed. The launching means and the target body may have a geometry causing that the movement path is substantially vertical or substantially horizontal.

Abstract: Method and system for moving a frozen adhesive particle towards a target body, comprising launching means (13) which are arranged to launch the particle (2) in its frozen form towards the target body (3, 4) via a movement path (14) through a gap (15) between the launching means and the target body. The medium in the gap may have a temperature above the adhesive particle's melting temperature. The launching means may be arranged to launch the particle at a high speed. The launching means and the target body may have a geometry causing that the movement path is substantially vertical or substantially horizontal.

  • Publication number: 20100280645
Abstract: Method for manufacturing one or more products, comprising operation of two or more processes which are or are suspected to be subject to mutual disturbance, wherein either a process which is or which is suspected to be subject to disturb one or more of the remaining process or processes, or a process which is or which is suspected to be subject to be disturbed by one or more of the remaining processes or processes, causes an interruption or modification of the operation of the relevant remaining process or processes during a state of such potential disturbance.

  • Patent number: 6318844
Abstract: A print head for an ink-jet printer has a nozzle member defining a plurality of ink channels arranged side-by-side and each terminating in a nozzle. A plurality of actuators are disposed on one side of the nozzle member and respectively face one of the ink channels for pressurizing the ink liquid therein, in order to expel ink droplets through the nozzles. A support for supporting the actuators on the side opposite to the ink channels is provided and a plurality of connecting portions mechanically connect the support to the nozzle member. At least one of the connecting portions is arranged between the actuators. The connecting portions are spaced apart from one another in a longitudinal direction of the ink channels and are formed, for example, by bars extending transversely to the ink channels.
