  • Publication number: 20220340159
Abstract: In a method and control device for providing feedback to a vehicle occupant, a signal corresponding to current and/or upcoming movements of the vehicle is obtained when the vehicle is in an autonomous driving mode. The obtained signal is provided to a control device located within the cabin of the vehicle. The control device is moved corresponding to the provided signal. In an embodiment, an input of the occupant for an autonomous driving unit of the vehicle via the control device is received and a signal corresponding to the received input is submitted to the autonomous driving unit. The input may correspond to a maneuver request and/or to a selection of one of several autonomous driving-modes.

  • Patent number: 10451428
Abstract: A method and system is provided for a semi-autonomous vehicle to have optional routes that vary in an amount of autonomous driving offered. The system performs processes including aggregating data from various sources to thereby position and orient the vehicle, assigning an autonomous driving value to different route segments, determining an optimal route by minimizing a distance between a start position and a destination position and maximizing the percent autonomous value assigned, and displaying the optimal route.

  • Patent number: 10030987
Abstract: An in-vehicle system and method for presenting a relevancy-graded navigation map to a driver of a vehicle. The relevancy-graded navigation deemphasizes map elements that are not relevant to driving the vehicle. • Patent number: 9881482
Abstract: Systems and methods for displaying information of a system use at least one control unit to detect and communicate system information to a mobile terminal device within a predetermined range of the system. Information about a state of the system may be displayed on a display unit of the system and transmitted to the mobile terminal device via a communication channel established between the control unit and the mobile terminal device. The system may be a vehicle and the system information a status of the automatic driving mode of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 8795329
Abstract: The present invention provides systems and methods for occluding or closing a patent foramen ovale of a patient (PFO). The invention includes a catheter carrying an energy delivery element. The catheter introduces the energy delivery element into the patent foramen ovale of a patient's heart. Once appropriately positioned, the energy delivery element applies energy, such as radiofrequency energy, to the tissues surrounding the patent foramen ovale. The application of energy causes the tissues to join together, occluding the patent foramen ovale. The energy delivery element may be removable or permanently implanted in the patent foramen ovale.
