  • Publication number: 20240145032
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for providing individualized prognostic assessments of breast cancer recurrence (e.g., locoregional recurrence). The systems and methods involve measuring gene expression from a patient sample to create a gene expression signature which identifies subjects who are not likely to benefit from radiotherapy following breast cancer surgery.

  • Publication number: 20220338208
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, obtaining a first set of traffic load measurements associated with current traffic of a first RAT and a second set of traffic load measurements associated with current traffic of a second RAT, determining a respective weighted traffic load for each QoS level in a first set of QoS levels associated with the first RAT and for each QoS level in a second set of QoS levels associated with the second RAT, deriving a resource allocation ratio for the first and second RATs, and performing a resource allocation based on the resource allocation ratio to enable relative scheduling weights assigned to the QoS levels in the first set of QoS levels and the second set of QoS levels to be reflected in first RAT traffic and second RAT traffic over a DSS spectrum. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20220002815
Abstract: Methods, systems, and kits for the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of breast cancer in a subject are disclosed. The invention also provides biomarkers and clinically useful genomic classifiers for identifying subjects at low risk of breast cancer recurrence who are likely to benefit from adjuvant radiotherapy. Further disclosed herein, in certain instances, are probe sets for use in detecting such biomarkers for determining the risk of breast cancer recurrence in a subject (e.g., locoregional recurrence). Methods of treating breast cancer based on expression profiling to determine the risk of breast cancer recurrence are also provided.

  • Patent number: 4177668
Abstract: An apparatus for determining the alcoholic content in blood. A sensor receives exhaled air from a person being tested and produces a signal which is sent to at least two comparator devices for comparing the output signal with at least two preset reference values. A logic circuitry of TTL elements is connected to the output of the comparator device and is arranged in conjunction with three light emitting diodes to actuate at least one light emitting diode based upon the result of the comparison to thereby indicate the alcoholic content. A first light emitting diode is actuated when the output is below the first reference value, the first light is extinguished and the second light is ignited when the output is between the first and second reference values, and the third light is ignited and the second is extinguished when the output exceeds the second reference value.
