    Abstract: An apparatus and system are disclosed for a double gimbal stabilization platform. The apparatus, in one embodiment, includes a base and a first pivot joint connected to the base. The apparatus also includes a bent gimbal structure connected to the first pivot joint. The first pivot joint may rotate the bent gimbal structure about a first axis of rotation. The apparatus includes a second pivot joint connected to the bent gimbal structure. The apparatus includes a platform connected to the second pivot joint. The second pivot joint may rotate the platform around a second axis of rotation and the second axis of rotation may be orthogonal to the first axis of rotation. Furthermore, a center of mass for a combination of the bent gimbal structure and the platform may be between the base and the first axis of rotation.
