Abstract: Methods and apparatus for controlling a heart pump system are described. The heart pump system includes a first heart pump and a second heart pump and a controller. The controller includes a data interface configured to receive first data from the first heart pump and second data from the second heart pump, and at least one computer processor. The at least one computer process is programmed to display in a first portion of a user interface, an indication of the first data, display in a second portion of the user interface, an indication of the second data, and control an operation of the first heart pump and/or the second heart pump.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for an auxiliary monitor for a patient monitoring system including a first patient monitoring device and a second patient monitoring device are described. The auxiliary monitor comprises a communication interface configured to receive first data from the first patient monitoring device and second data from the second patient monitoring device, and at least one computer processor. The at least one computer processor is programmed to display in a first portion of a user interface, an indication of the first data, and display in a second portion of the user interface, an indication of the second data.

Abstract: Methods and systems for extracting patient information from an electronic medical record (EMR) for use in a clinical trial are described. The method includes receiving an indication that a new clinical trial subject has been identified from a subject identification source, retrieving, from an EMR associated with the new clinical trial subject, patient information, processing the retrieved patient information to de-identify the retrieved patient information thereby generating de-identified patient information, and providing a portion of the de-identified patient information as input to an electronic data capture (EDC) system for the clinical trial.

Abstract: A monitoring patch including a substrate having an adhesive surface and a plurality of sensors disposed in and/or on the substrate. In some embodiments, the plurality of sensors may include one or more sensors arranged to measure oxygen saturation, a lactate sensor, and one or more impedance cardiography electrodes. In some embodiments, the plurality of sensors may include an accelerometer and a strain gauge, and may be free of at least one sensor of a sensor arranged to measure oxygen saturation, a lactate sensor, or an impedance cardiography electrode.
