Abstract: An inhaler comprising a tubular body (1) defining a tubular air flow passage with a bendable section, preferably a U-shaped section comprising peripherally extending corrugations and means for supplying a dose of at least one active inhalable, particulate substance into the flow passage and a cap (2). According to the invention the dose of the at least one active, inhalable particulate substance is placed in the cap (2) to be released from said cap substantially at the beginning of the corrugations in the intake direction.

Abstract: A device for applying a powdered or particulate substance to a mucous membrane in a nostril comprises a tubular body (10) similar to a drinking straw. The tubular body has opposite end parts forming a mouthpiece (11) and a nasal piece (12) to be inserted between the lips and into the nostril, respectively, of a user. The mouthpiece (11) and the nasal piece (12) are interconnected by a bent or a bendable, preferably corrugated part (13). A dose of a powdered or particulate substance arranged within the tubular body (10) is transferred to the nostril when the user blows into the mouthpiece (11). A part of the mouthpiece is preferably deflated or compresses between a pair of fingers (35) of the user. The compressed part (34) is released when the user has started to blow forcefully into the compressed mouthpiece part which is thereby inflated. It has been found that the user will automatically close the connection between the nostrils and the throat by the uvula when blowing.

A single dose of an active, inhalable, particulate substance is arranged within the air flow passage and is sealed or closed in relation to the ambient atmosphere by closure means, such as removable caps, a section of the flow passage extending from a free mouthpiece end of the tubular body along a major part of the total length of the flow passage is preferable 7-35 mm.sup.2, for example about 20 mm.sup.2. The inhaler may be adapted to be used only once, and the tubular body of the inhaler may be a length of a simple tube similar to a drinking straw.

Abstract: A tobacco or similar packing of the folding bag type, i.e. comprising a strip of sheet material which is folded about a transverse folding line offset from the middle of the strip so as to present a front panel having a free top edge and a bottom edge constituted by said folding line, and a rear panel extending upwardly from said bottom edge to beyond the top edge of the front panel, the side edges of the adjacent panels being joined so as to define a flat bag portion, the rear side of which is extended into a flap portion beyond the top of the bag portion, said flap portion being folded or adapted to be folded down along the front side of the bag together with the uppermost part of the bag portion, about a second transverse folding line underneath the top edge of the front panel, and being fastened or adapted to be fastened in a releasable manner to the exterior surface of said bag portion by means of adhering fastening means.
