  • Patent number: 9982417
Abstract: In one representative example, a water delivery apparatus includes a chassis and a water system supported on the chassis. The water system is substantially lead-free and adapted for use with potable water. The system includes a manifold adapted to convey and/or contain water in a substantially leak- proof manner. The manifold extends between an intake connection and a distal terminus valve. The system also includes first, second and third outlet legs and a pump adapted to induce water flow within the manifold principally from the intake connection to one or more of the outlet legs. The system also includes a pressure switch, an accumulator tank and a cycle to stop valve, all of which are operatively connected to the manifold.

  • Patent number: 8527087
Abstract: A dunnage placing apparatus includes a chassis, a dunnage magazine, and a carriage movably supported by the chassis and adapted to receive dunnage pieces from the magazine. The carriage has a lower gate, an intermediate gate substantially above the lower gate, and an upper gate substantially above the intermediate gate. The apparatus includes a control system adapted to cause dunnage pieces to be released from the magazine and received into the carriage. The control system also causes the carriage to move relative to the chassis and to release dunnage pieces. The released dunnage pieces released from the carriage can be placed at respective predetermined locations.

  • Patent number: 8393560
Abstract: In one representative example, a portable containment apparatus includes a tank adapted to contain a liquid waste, an inlet through which the liquid waste is introduced into the tank, an outlet through which at least a portion of the contained liquid waste is expelled from the tank, a grinder pump operatively disposed within the tank and adapted to expel the portion of contained liquid waste from the tank, a heater affixed to the tank and adapted to transfer heat energy to the liquid waste contained within the tank, and an electrical distribution box adapted to be removably supported on an exterior surface of the tank. The electrical distribution box is adapted to be selectively stowed within the tank when removed from its supported position on the exterior surface of the tank. The apparatus also includes a receiver system adapted to receive the electrical box in its removably supported position on the exterior of the tank.

  • Patent number: 7811047
Abstract: In one representative example an underlayment stickering stacker includes a carriage/fork device configured to move a course of material with underlaid sticks from a course forming station to a hoist device, thereby forming the stack of material. The stacker also includes a rake-off device configured to facilitate removal of the course of material from the carriage/fork device. The stacker also includes a regenerative actuator configured to provide regenerative braking power to one of the hoist device, the carriage/fork device and the rake-off device.

  • Publication number: 20090053031
Abstract: In one representative example a stacking method includes generating a cyclical master signal. A carriage/fork device is provided and is configured to move a course of material, including underlaid sticks, to a stack. A stick device is also provided and is configured to facilitate underlayment of the sticks. The method further includes controlling movement of the carriage/fork device and movement of the stick device as respective functions of the master signal.

  • Patent number: 6974300
Abstract: Sticker handling apparatus include an actuating assembly that operatively supports one or more sticker support brackets. The actuating assembly includes a first actuator and a second actuator. The first actuator is configured to impart motion to the sticker support bracket in a first dimension and the second actuator is configured to impart motion to the sticker support bracket in a second dimension different from the first dimension. The actuating assembly can thus be selectively actuated to move the one or more sticker support brackets in a manner such that one or more stickers are contacted and lifted by respective sticker support brackets and moved from a sticker in-feed conveyor to respective sticker trays supported on respective fork arms with no substantial rotation of the one or more sticker support brackets.
