The processor is configured to determine an activity of the at least one radiopharmaceutical at a plurality of spatial positions in the body part and determines a spatial distribution of the at least one radiopharmaceutical in the body part. The determination for a spatial position of the plurality of spatial positions comprises correlating a generated synthetic spectrum to an experimental spectrum generated from the spectral energy data for at least one position in the at least one gamma image that corresponds to that spatial position.
