  • Publication number: 20240118380
Abstract: A method is provided for detecting interference in a radar system. The method includes transmitting, by a transmitter of the radar system, a sequence of radar pulses at a regular interval with a rest period following each radar pulse of the sequence of radar pulses. The transmitter is disabled during each rest period. A receiver is enabled to receive reflected radar pulses from a target during the rest period following each radar pulse of the sequence of radar pulses. Some of the radar pulses are selected to be omitted and not transmitted. The receiver is still enabled during the rest periods following the omitted transmission pulses. Any reflected pulses received during the rest periods following the omitted transmission pulses may be an indication of a targeted interference of the radar system. In another embodiment, a radar system is provided.

  • Publication number: 20230338642
Abstract: A drip chamber insert for insertion into a drip chamber to be connected to a medical infusion or transfusion device. The drip chamber insert has an open first front side, discharge openings in a second front side opposite the first front side, and an overflow opening. The overflow opening is positioned in a region extending from the first to the second front side. The drip chamber features a drip chamber bottom with an outlet channel. The drip chamber insert is positioned in the drip chamber with the second front side facing the drip chamber bottom. The drip chamber insert or the drip chamber is usable for preparing operation of a medical infusion or transfusion device without shutting off and reopening a connection to the drip chamber and/or without external pressurization of the interior of the drip chamber.

  • Publication number: 20230321404
Abstract: A catheter arrangement and use of a catheter arrangement in infusion therapy. The catheter arrangement includes a catheter with a housing body, a hollow needle, a tube fitted onto a distal end of the housing body, a valve element arranged in the housing body with a fluid passage, and a fluid-conducting path extending through the housing body, the fluid passage and the tube. The needle extends longitudinally through the fluid-conducting path in a state of readiness of the catheter arrangement, and is drawn out of the fluid-conducting path in a state of use of the catheter arrangement. The valve element has an elastic wall portion through which the fluid passage extends. The fluid passage can be shifted by a fluid-pressure-induced elastic deformation of the wall portion between an open state, in which the fluid passage is open, and a closed state, in which the fluid passage is closed.

  • Publication number: 20230271363
Abstract: A plastic injection tool for producing a closure cap is divided into first and second mold halves that can be moved relative to one another and an injection nozzle is formed in the first mold half, and sliding jaw tool parts are formed in the second mold half, radially outside a central tool core, which can simultaneously be moved in an ejection direction of the produced closure cap and perpendicular to the ejection direction. A respective partial ejection contour of the cap body is formed in the sliding jaw tool parts. An ejector is also provided for ejecting the produced closure cap. Partial injection contours that are different from one another are formed in sliding jaw tool parts, and a sliding jaw tool part is in contact with the tool core in two regions lying after one another in the ejection direction, before the ejection of the closure cap.

  • Patent number: 10956132
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for unified code and data management for machine learning models are disclosed. A plurality of dependency graphs, including a first dependency graph and a second dependency graph, are generated. The graphs comprise nodes associated with a software development model or machine learning model, and the nodes represent transforms. One or more transforms of the first dependency graph are used to generate first output corresponding to a node in the second dependency graph. One or more transforms of the second dependency graph are used to generate second output based at least in part on the first output.

  • Patent number: 10275506
Abstract: This disclosure describes devices, architectures, and techniques to coordinate data related to separate services to help create a more robust user experience for a user accessing either or both of the separate services. For instance, if the user currently accesses two separate services that relate to a common subject matter, techniques of this disclosure will provide data from one of the services when the user accesses the other. In one example, an activity feed that includes activities relating to both a first service and a second service may be generated and displayed to a user accessing the first service.

  • Patent number: 10078105
Abstract: A unique electrical system includes a first electrical component and a second electrical component. A conductor electrically couples the first electrical component with the second electrical component. A sensor is constructed to sense an AC power flow in the conductor and output an AC signal proportional to the AC power flow. A band-pass filter is in electrical communication with the sensor and constructed to receive and filter the AC signal and to generate an AC voltage proportional on the AC signal. A controller is in electrical communication with the band-pass filter, and is operative to receive and sample the AC voltage. The controller is configured to execute program instructions to sum sequential AC voltage values received from the band-pass filter over a sample time period, and to determine whether an arc fault has occurred based on the summed AC voltage values.

  • Publication number: 20130034632
Abstract: Nutritional supplements and methods for making and using such supplements are described. In particular, this application describes nutritional supplements with a first part containing an effective amount of a lipoic acid (such as ALA) and a second part containing an effective amount of a sulfur containing compound that increases the level of cellular glutathione (such as NAC). The first and second parts are kept partially or completely separated from each other, thereby minimizing their reaction and maximizing their effectiveness. Such nutritional supplements can be administered to mammals to increase the levels of glutathione while maintaining or increasing the stability of these two components while they are contained in the supplement. Other embodiments are described.

  • Patent number: 7748356
Abstract: The invention relates to a valve train for internal combustion engines, comprising a camshaft and valve actuation elements for one or more valves, the elements being located in the cylinder head. The aim of the invention is to provide a valve train for an internal combustion engine, with which a reliable stroke adjustment of the valves can be made, without the need for complex technical resources, while at the same time allowing a forward or rear displacement of the valve orifice region. To achieve this, in order to modify the valve stroke curve, the contact point between the transfer member and the cam can be displaced along the periphery of the cam and the contact point between the transfer member and a control curve of the support body can be displaced, forcing the part of the transfer member that interacts with the cam to be guided, by shifting the transfer member in relation to the camshaft.
