Patent number: 10640675Abstract: A coating having a thickness between 0.1 and 2 mm is obtained from a mixture with the following composition: 10-25% by weight of micronized powder; 40-60% by weight of inorganic gravels of petrographic origin of sizes comprised between 0.063-2 mm; 10-40% by weight of a polymerisable base resin selected from polyurethane, polyester, epoxy or acrylic, with additives, and optionally pigments. The proportion of the mentioned gravel and micronized powder of the coating being up to 90% in an inner most area of interphase between coating and surface of the petrous substrate, covering one third of the thickness of the coating. The method comprises depositing the mentioned mixture on the substrate and vibrating the assembly, and subsequently proceeding to a step of curing and subsequent mechanical finishing of the surface.Type: GrantFiled: November 21, 2016Date of Patent: May 5, 2020Assignee: COMPACSTONE USA, INC.Inventors: Erik Schoneveld, Francisco Sanchis Brines, Alberto Ortola, Bernardo Sanchez Sevilla

Patent number: 9003736Abstract: A system for a floor covering that includes covering panels (10A, 10B) made of a hard material, having relatively little thickness (e), with upper and lower surfaces (1a, 2a; 1b, 2b), perimetral edges (3a, 3b) and recesses (4a, 4b), and attachment parts (20) made of a relatively flexible material and having projecting members (21a, 21b) and spacing members (22a, 22b). In practice, the projecting members (21a, 21b) of the attachment parts are introduced in the recesses (4a, 4b) of the covering panels (10A, 10B) assuring the link between covering panels (10A, 10B), and the spacing members (22a, 22b) of the attachment parts (20) remain between the facing edges (3a, 3b) of the covering panels (10A, 10B) filling a gap (G) between them in the form of a joint.Type: GrantFiled: August 19, 2013Date of Patent: April 14, 2015Assignee: Silicalia, SLInventors: Erik Schoneveld, Francisco Sanchis Brines, Lorente Aroca, Teresa Estruch Millet, Serafin garcia Navarro
