  • Patent number: 9097527
Abstract: A method for generating a route including at least one path. The method is suitable for aircraft reconnaissance of an area. The method includes encompassing the area with a geometrical figure, generating a first direction depending upon a configuration of the figure, generating the at least one path depending upon the first direction wherein the path corresponds to a sub area covering at least a part of the area.

  • Patent number: 8700231
Abstract: A device at an airborne vehicle including a flight control system configured to control the behavior of the airborne vehicle based on acceleration commands, a first control unit configured to provide the acceleration commands to the flight control system, and a collision avoidance unit. The collision avoidance unit includes a detection unit arranged to detect whether the airborne vehicle is on a collision course and a second control unit arranged to feed forced acceleration commands to the flight control system upon detection that the airborne vehicle is on a collision course. A method for collision avoidance in an airborne vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20070112478
Abstract: A method for generating a route comprising at least one path (R1-RT) is disclosed, wherein the method is suitable for aircraft reconnaissance of a area (A1). The method comprises the steps of: encompassing the area (A1) with a geometrical figure (F); generating a first direction (P) depending upon a configuration of said figure (F); generating said at least one path (R1-RT) depending upon said first direction (P), wherein said path (R1-RT) corresponds to a sub area (sa1-saT) covering at least a part of said area (A1).

  • Patent number: 6419185
Abstract: An arrangement in a missile and a method for guiding the missile towards a moving target, for example, an aircraft, wherein the missile has information on its own position, velocity vector, and future velocity characteristic. The missile continuously receives information on the position and velocity vector of the target. The arrangement and method operate such that, a point of interception, at which the missile is expected to strike the target, is calculated from the information on the missile and the target, and a velocity vector of the missile is directed towards the predicted point of interception, which is continuously predicted on the basis of an assumption as to the future movement of the target, and a calculation of the time to impact.
