  • Publication number: 20230033934
Abstract: A handwheel actuator for a steer by wire system may include a compressive loading assembly, a feedback actuator and a column for operably coupling a handwheel to the handwheel actuator. The column may operably couple a handwheel to the handwheel actuator. The column may include a column shaft extending from a first end of the column to a second end of the column. The feedback actuator may be operably coupled to the second end of the column. The feedback actuator may provide tactile feedback to an operator responsive to movement of the handwheel. The feedback actuator may include a torsion bar substantially coaxial with the column shaft. The compressive loading assembly may be disposed at the second end of the column to operably couple the column shaft and the torsion bar under a compressive load when the column is joined to the feedback actuator.

  • Patent number: 7491836
Abstract: New non-ionic surfactants in the form of polyoxyalkylene glycol hydroxy fatty acid derivatives or monoalkylated polyoxyalkylene glycol hydroxy fatty acid derivatives having a polyoxyalkylene/alkyl polyoxyalkylene chain with a chain-length of 25-455 repeating units and a specified substituent on the hydroxy position of the specified hydroxy fatty acid, according to the general formula (I) CH3—(CH2)x—CH—(CH2)y—CO—[—O—R3—]z—O—R1 R2—O (I); wherein for example R1 is methyl, R2 is optionally substituted C14-C22 acyl, alkyl, or alkenyl, R3 is ethylene, x is 2-12, y is 7-17, (x+y) is 3-19 and z is 25-57; advantageously prepared by involving an enzymatic process, formulations comprising them, their use as solubilizers and a process involving a hydrolytic enzyme for preparing them.

  • Publication number: 20060083790
Abstract: A combination comprising an IBAT inhibitor, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, solvate of such a salt or a prodrug thereof, and a metal salt, wherein the metal salt is formulated to release in the terminal ileum, caecum and/or the colon, is described. Compositions containing this combination and uses of the combination are also described.

  • Patent number: 6838089
Abstract: The present invention concerns polymer particle vaccine delivery systems in which a water insoluble protein antigen, e.g. a lipidated HpaA protein, is incorporated with particles comprising a polymer matrix. The present invention also concerns a method for incorporating such a water insoluble protein antigen with a polymer matrix in order to produce a polymer particle vaccine delivery system. In addition, the invention also provides a vaccine composition comprising the polymer particle delivery system. The vaccine can be used to treat and/or reduce the risk of for example Helicobacter infection.
