  • Patent number: 11930243
Abstract: Systems and methods described herein may provide a system that enables game play or other application sessions from a set of candidate game hosts and environments to consumption devices of a user's choice while the user moves about their home between the different environments. The system may employ methods to determine where a user is located within the home, availability and selection of candidate game hosting and target environments, homing and direction of related I/O and audio-visual (AV) content for consumption. The solution accommodates multiple users simultaneously within the home, whether in single player, multiplayer using the same screen, or multiplayer using separate screen games. The solution may configure AV and input/output (I/O) such that multiple users can consume one or multiple games in the home simultaneously, whether in separate locations or when seated together in front of the same consumption device.

  • Publication number: 20240021316
Abstract: A data-driven, intelligent ergonomic behavioral aid based on uniquely captured telemetry and user behavior data is provided. The aggregation of the telemetry data and user presence events over time can provide sufficient context to understand user patterns and behavior as well as the user's environment. The provided system may learn from this data and recommend to the user best practices and actions to take to minimize the health risk specific to their behavior with respect to the computing ecosystem. In some instances, the provided system may initiate one or more actions, rather than a recommendation, that force the user to change their behavior if the user desires to continue interacting with the computing ecosystem.

  • Patent number: 11406905
Abstract: A system for communicating interactive instructions to a user intercepts video and audio information from an information handling system hosting a game, analyzes where a user is looking and listens for user commands, generates a list of candidate targets, selects a target profile for each candidate target, applies a prioritization policy to select a target from the list of candidate targets, and communicates haptic information to the user to signal an action to take relative to the selected target. The target may be a threat that the user must engage or evade, an object the user must get or avoid, a location the user must move to or avoid, or a route the user must take to attack or evade a threat or achieve a reward.

  • Patent number: 11385728
Abstract: In one or more embodiments, a mouse for an information handling system has a plurality of force or tilt sensors. When a sensor detects a force or tilt value above a threshold value, a microcontroller unit (MCU) determines how fast the mouse is moving. If the mouse is moving above a threshold rate, the MCU determines the user is making a coarse movement and the MCU sends the mouse output to a processor for normal cursor adjustment. If the mouse is moving slower than a mouse speed threshold value, the MCU determines the user is trying to make a fine adjustment and the MCU adjusts the mouse sensitivity and sends the mouse output to the processor for fine cursor adjustment. The sensors may be in the bottom, sides or skirt of the mouse or a mousepad associated with the mouse.
