Abstract: This invention relates to a confetti-throwing device which is arranged inside containers used to offer gift articles. The device is characterised by a confetti reservoir and a propelling mechanism comprising a propeller and a motor, in this case an elastic band is used as the motor, but any other type of motor that generates the movement necessary to throw the confetti inside the container into the air outside the container when the container is opened can be used. The device is used in the following manner: once the gift has been placed inside the container, the confetti-throwing device is full and the propelling mechanism is in position and ready to be activated, the container is closed, and in this case the actuation system causes the propeller to be stopped until the container is opened by the person receiving the gift, releasing the propeller and causing the confetti to be expelled from the container.
