  • Patent number: 9042795
Abstract: A transfer bias voltage supplier supplies, to a transfer member, a transfer bias voltage of a polarity opposite to the polarity of toner. The absolute value of transfer bias voltage to be supplied to the transfer member when a leading/trailing end of the sheet is passed through the nip portion is set smaller than when a toner image transfer region of the sheet is passed through the nip portion. A separation bias voltage supplier supplies, to a discharging electrode member, a separation bias voltage of a polarity opposite to the polarity of transfer bias voltage. The absolute value of separation bias voltage to be supplied to the discharging electrode member when the leading/trailing end of the sheet is passed through a discharging gap is set smaller than when the transfer region is passed through the discharging gap.

  • Patent number: 5755985
Abstract: Polymer electrolyte compositions for lithium electrochemical generators of the LPB type (lithium polymer electrolyte battery), comprising a mixture of polymers wherein one of the components has a high molecular weight, such as those used currently in LPB batteries, and wherein the other component is a low molecular weight polymer resulting in a more efficient and faster multi-dimensional cross-linking by irradiation, so as to give a network which is interpenetrated or not and films of electrolyte being have better mechanical properties and lower thicknesses, while preserving the good properties of adhesion on the electrodes and the choice of the coating techniques.

  • Patent number: 5332711
Abstract: The present invention provides a thermal transfer image-receiving sheet which can form a clear image having a sufficiently high density and excellent in various types of fastness, particularly durability such as light fastness, fingerprint resistance and which is plasticizer resistance according to a thermal transfer printing process wherein use is made of a heat migratable dye. The thermal transfer image-receiving sheet includes a substrate sheet and a dye-receiving layer formed on at least one surface of the substrate sheet, wherein the dye-receiving layer includes a product of a reaction of a polyoxyalkylene polyol with an organic polyisocyanate.

  • Patent number: 5001775
Abstract: A radio receiver having a synthesizer-type receiving circuit, in which the received broadcast signal is determined by varying a frequency-dividing ratio in a phase-locked loop, is provided with a display which shows in respective areas of a tabular format the names of various geographic regions and of broadcasting stations that can be received in the respective geographic regions, and with a memory having addresses for storing data corresponding to frequencies needed for the reception of respective broadcasting stations receivable in the various geographic regions.
