    Abstract: The invention relates to a bendable or vaulting support structure in a bending section or bending and tempering section for glass sheets or panels. The support structure comprises a plurality of support arms (10), which are attached by pivotal joints (7) to each other for a vaulting bridge. Each support arm (10) includes a bracket member (6) protruding from between two pivotal joints (7). Between the bracket members (6) is provided a guide lever mechanism, which directs bending or vaulting of the support structure with a constant-radius curvature. The guide lever mechanism is established by levers (11, 12, 13) set in a Z-pattern and provided with five pivotal joints (1-5), three (1, 4, 5) of which engage with the bracket members (6), and two articulated axles (2, 3) present therebetween, which connect the lever arms (11, 12, 13) to each other, are capable of moving relative to the bracket members (6).

    Abstract: A method is provided for the treatment of postmenopausal disorders which comprises administering to a woman in single, oral, daily dose form during an uninterrupted consecutive sequence of 90 days.(a) a daily, oral, dose in an uninterrupted consecutive sequence for 69 days starting on the first day of a naturally occurring or synthetic estrogenic compound effective in the prevention of climacteric symptoms;(b) a daily, oral dose in an uninterrupted consecutive sequence from the 70th day to the 83rd day following said first day, of a naturally occurring or synthetic estrogenic compound and a compound having progestational activity effective in preventing the development of endometrial hyperplasia; and optionally(c) a daily, oral dose in an uninterrupted consecutive sequence from the 84th to the 90th day following said first day, of a compound free of estrogen and progestogen.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a device for dosing or for pumping in a controlled manner a liquid or slurry, a device having a piston freely reciprocating in a cylinder; members connected to the cylinder on the opposite sides of the path of the piston movement for feeding the liquid or slurry under pressure into the cylinder in order to move the piston or for discharging liquid or slurry from the cylinder by means of the pressure of the liquid or slurry directed into the cylinder to the opposite side of the piston, when the piston returns; a valve member in the feed and discharge members of the liquid or slurry for their alternate opening and closing; switches fitted at the ends of the cylinder for sensing the position of the piston; and a control unit for controlling the stroke frequency of the piston, and thereby the volume flow of the liquid or slurry, and for transmitting the signal given by the switch to the valve member in order to open and close it at different positions of the piston.
