    Abstract: An exposure apparatus for panoramic x-ray equipment automatically adjusts imaging parameters. The intensity of radiation passed through the patient is measured by detectors, such as photo diodes, and provided to a control unit. On the basis of the measured radiation, the control units identifies anatomical features and adjusts the imaging parameters accordingly.
