  • Patent number: 11269749
Abstract: A system for monitoring a health status of a gradient coil disposed in a magnetic resonance imaging system is provided. The system includes one or more sensors and a controller. The one or more sensors are operative to obtain one or more parameter readings of the gradient coil, wherein the one or more parameter readings include at least one of an acoustic measurement and a back electromotive force measurement. The controller is in electronic communication with the one or more sensors and operative to generate the health status based on at least one of the acoustic measurement and the back electromotive force measurement.

  • Publication number: 20210298634
Abstract: An implantable device including a housing, circuitry within the housing, and a power source attached to the housing and electrically connected to the circuitry. The device may include electrically conductive connectors configured to electrically connect positive and negative terminals of the power source to the circuitry. The device may include a power source terminal enclosure attached to the power source and configured to enclose the positive and negative terminals of the power source. The power source terminal enclosure may include holes through which the electrically conductive connectors pass. The device may include a housing cap enclosure attached to the power source terminal enclosure and to an open end of the housing. The housing cap enclosure may enclose the circuitry within the housing and includes passages through which the electrically conductive connectors pass.

  • Publication number: 20210228236
Abstract: An insertion tool for creating a subcutaneous pocket and implanting a device in the pocket. The tool may include a cannula extending from a handle, a dissector tip disposed at a distal end of the cannula, and a rod. The cannula and dissector tip may create the pocket. The cannula may include a passage and an opening into the passage, and the cannula may be disposed in the passage and move along the passage between a retracted position and an extended position. The rod and the cannula may be configured such that, when the rod is at the retracted position, the cannula holds the device in the passage, and as the cannula moves from the extended position to the retracted position, the rod forces the device through the opening at the distal end of the cannula, at least partially out of the cannula, and at least partially into the pocket.

  • Patent number: 9845655
Abstract: A method for testing an insert packer assembly positioned within a diverter assembly includes inserting a test tool through an opening of the insert packer assembly and into a bore of the diverter assembly. The method includes driving multiple annular flexible components of the insert packer assembly radially inward to contact an outer annular surface of the test tool to form a sealed space between the multiple annular flexible components and the outer annular surface of the test tool. The method also includes applying a fluid to the sealed space to increase a pressure within the sealed space and monitoring the pressure within the sealed space over a period of time to determine a condition of the insert packer assembly.

  • Patent number: 9074455
Abstract: The present disclosure provides drilling and tripping equipment packages and control schemes and methods using two or more lifting systems that operate simultaneously and continuously in a synchronized manner such that the feeding of tubular into or out of a well bore is achieved with continuous or near continuous movement, without the need for periodic interruptions. The drilling and tripping equipment packages and control schemes are also able to rotate the tubular in the well bore with continuous speed and torque sufficient for both drilling and back-reaming operations. The drilling and tripping equipment package and control scheme is additionally able to circulate drilling fluid into the internal bore of the tubular with sufficient pressure and flow to facilitate both drilling and back-reaming operations, with minimal interruption to circulation.
