  • Patent number: 12102570
Abstract: A patient limb positioning apparatus comprises a movement assembly operating on a coupling bracket which can be engaged with the patient's limb, to move the limb according to a plurality of axes of movement. The movement assembly comprises, for at least one of said axes of movement, a drive unit which can be activated to move the coupling bracket according to a predetermined direction of movement. A load transducer detects a load transmitted between the coupling bracket and the drive unit in the respective direction of movement, to emit a signal representative of a detected load value. An electronic control unit is selectively switchable to a load control command mode and is suitable to cyclically compare the measured load value with a pre-set load value, to control activation of the drive unit when the detected load value differs from the pre-set load value.

  • Publication number: 20230218330
Abstract: A device for tensioning a surgical thread comprising: an elongated body having a tip portion adapted to be arranged in contact with a knot of a surgical thread wound about a patient's bone and a maneuvering member connected to the elongated body by a screw and nut mechanism configured to adjust the distance between said elongated body and said maneuvering member, said maneuvering member having respective coupling portions for coupling opposite ends of the surgical thread wound and knotted about the bone. The opposite ends of the surgical thread reversibly constrainable to the respective coupling portions in a use configuration of the device. The distance between the elongated body and the maneuvering member can be increased along a movement axis to tension the opposite ends so as to tighten the surgical thread about the bone. The tip portion has a groove shaped to receive at least partially the knot.

  • Publication number: 20230149241
Abstract: An apparatus for positioning a lower limb of a patient during surgery comprises at least one support structure connectable, through a proximal end, to a support device for a patient and defining a traction axis of the patient's lower limb, a traction slide slidingly movable on the support structure, a gripping body for a distal end of the patient's lower limb connectable to the traction slide. The support structure, when connected to the support device for a patient, is suspended and comprises at least one actuator, hydraulically connected with the traction slide, for moving the support structure in space.

  • Publication number: 20220401113
Abstract: A broach handle for a rasp includes a proximal part extending along a first axis between a first portion of the handle and a second portion of the handle, and a proximal part extending partially along a second axis between a third portion of the handle, connected to the second portion, and a fourth portion of the handle, and partially along a third axis between a fifth portion of the handle, connected to the fourth portion, and a sixth portion of the handle connectable to a rasp. The sixth portion of the handle has a connection surface for connecting to the rasp having a normal extending along a normal axis defining a connection axis between the handle and the rasp. A first convex angle is defined between the first axis and the second axis, and a second convex angle is defined between the third axis and the normal axis.
