    Abstract: A vehicle security system attached to a power source for controlling a vehicle ignition. The vehicle security system includes first and second normally closed switches connected in series along a first power line between the power supply and a distributor of the vehicle. The first switch is positioned within a cabin of the vehicle and the second switch is positioned with a trunk of the vehicle. A third normally open switch is connected along a second power line between the power supply and a trunk lock of the vehicle and positioned within the trunk of the vehicle. The first and second switches are operable between a first closed position connecting the power source to the distributor allowing the vehicle to be started and a second open position disconnecting the power source from the distributor and preventing the vehicle from starting.
