    Abstract: Reinforced polymeric foam compositions having a polymeric foam core and a structurally reinforcing facer that are recyclable and can contain venting means between the foam and facer. The structurally reinforcing facer contains a thermoplastic polymer film layer and a gas-breathable layer between the foam core and the thermoplastic polymer film layer. The reinforcing facer is free of a polyethylene terephthalate layer, a metal foil layer, a paper layer, or any combination thereof.
