Improved quantum dot encapsulation and matrix materials are provided. Quantum dot films with protective barriers are described. High-efficiency, high brightness, and high-color purity quantum dot-based lighting devices are also included, as well as methods for improving efficiency and optical characteristics in quantum dot-based lighting devices.

The flow projector device includes a base having an upper surface, a lower support surface, an inner end, an outer end, and lateral sides extending between the inner and outer ends. The upper surface slopes downwardly from the outer end toward the inner end. The device also includes a return portion and an outer barrier. The return portion extends downwardly from the inner end. The outer barrier extends upwardly from the outer end. The outer barrier includes a recurved surface configured to redirect urine to the upper surface of the base. Urine directed along the upper surface towards the recurved surface can be redirected by the recurved surface back onto the upper surface of the base to flow down the upper surface, past the return portion and into the toilet bowl.

After adjudication, when the actual patient responsibility amount is known, a transaction set is sent to the system. The system then automatically transfers the actual patient responsibility amount from the patent's account and into the provider's bank account. Any remainder of the suspended funds is left in the patient's account. A trace number is provided so that the provider can reconcile bank statement deposits with transaction set information.

An energy collection unit is communicated with the waste to energy conversion unit to collect the fuel gas and the powdered residue as an energy source for recycling use.
