Abstract: The present invention relates to a remote propane-monitoring device primarily comprised of a body with a front surface further comprised of a display and at least one button, a retaining clip and a mobile application. In the preferred embodiment, the body is generally rectangular and is made from a rigid, water-resistant/water-proof, weather-resistant plastic. The body further has a clip assembly that allows the device to attach to a propane gauge of a propane tank and a piping/tubing that attaches to the tank. The device is further comprised of an internal pressure gauge that reads the pressure of the propane gas being pushed out from the tank to determine the level of propane gas left in the tank and relay said information to the mobile application.

Abstract: A kit for visual demonstration of principles relating to carpets and carpet care. The kit includes a horizontal base member, vertical members removably securable in erect position with respect to the base member at their proximal ends, and means on the base member to hold the vertical members in carrying position when not in their erect positions. A highly preferred base member is a transparent rigid box with spaced upper and lower walls, the vertical members being attacked to the lower wall and extending loosely through openings in the upper wall.The method includes applying dirt onto a shaft near its distal end and, when the shaft is erect on the lower wall of the preferred base member, executing a cleaning step. The cleaning step may involve applying a free liquid, which carries dirt through the opening into the rigid box, or rubbing with a damp wiper and then removing the dirty wiper from a position on top of the rigid box.

Abstract: In a nuclear reactor having the fuel disposed within a large number of pressure tubes fed in parallel with liquid coolant which is partly vaporized while flowing through the pressure tubes, the invention provides a coolant-supply header assembly comprising parallel-extending sub-header pipes which at their ends are connected by end pipes and which have water outlets (for connection to the individual pressure tubes) distributed along their lengths, and header pipes each extending transversely across the sub-header pipes at spaced intervals therealong and having a water inlet and a plurality of branch pipes each of which connects to a respective one of the sub-header pipes.

Abstract: A protective arrangement for a cooling system of the kind in which a fluid, which may be in the form of a liquid, gas, vapor or a two-phase fluid, is arranged to be circulated around the system under pressure, said protective arrangement comprising means for injecting into the system fluid under pressure for maintaining a flow in the normal direction through a region of the system, or for preventing cessation or reversal of flow through said region, for a period following a reduction in the pressure of the normal circulating fluid feeding said region, which may be due for example to a breach in a part of the system upstream from said region.
