Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for minimizing co-channel interference in communications systems are disclosed. A method in accordance with the present invention comprises shifting a characteristic of the first signal with respect to a like characteristic of the second signal to mitigate co-channel interference, and transmitting the first signal and the second signal over different channels of the communication system.

Abstract: A system for testing option search strategies comprises a repository of historical option data reflecting financial market conditions on a plurality of days in the past. The system is adapted to receive user defined search criteria for searching the repository of historical option data for option investments, search the repository of historical option data for option investments satisfying the user defined search criteria, and transmit the results. The system is further adapted to receive a request to use the user defined search criteria to search current financial market data for existing investment opportunities.

The semiconductor package comprises a semiconductor chip having at least one heat-generating semiconductor device and a volumetrically expandable chamber disposed to sealingly surround the semiconductor chip, the volumetrically expandable chamber filled entirely with a non-electrically conductive liquid in contact with the semiconductor device and circulated within the volumetrically expandable chamber at least in part by the generated heat of the at least one semiconductor device to cool the at least one semiconductor device.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for direct anonymous attestation from bilinear maps. In one embodiment, the method includes the creation of a public/private key pair for a trusted membership group defined by an issuer; and assigning a unique secret signature key to at least one member device of the trusted membership group defined by the issuer. In one embodiment, using the assigned signature key, a member may assign a message received as an authentication request to prove membership within a trusted membership group. In one embodiment, a group digital signature of the member is verified using a public key of the trusted membership group. Accordingly, a verifier of the digital signature is able to authenticate that the member is an actual member of the trusted membership group without requiring of the disclosure of a unique identification information of the member or a private member key to maintain anonymity of trusted member devices. Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and systems for coal liquefaction using a pipeline crude oil. A method of obtaining a de-ashed coal extract includes exposing a coal to a pipeline crude oil to form a slurry, elevating the temperature of the slurry to facilitate liquefying the coal and liberating a volatile matter, and separating the insoluble components from the slurry to obtain a de-ashed coal extract, wherein the coal extract is suitable for downstream processing.

Abstract: Provided are high temperature food preparation films, bags made from the films, as well as methods for fabricating such bags. The high temperature food preparation films are composed of a blended monolayer thermoplastic elastomer film comprising a polyamide and a polyester elastomer. The polyamides include nylon-6, nylon-6,6, copolymers of nylon-6, copolymers of nylon-6,6, and combinations thereof. Bags made from such films are used in high temperature cooking applications of up to about 425° F.

The locking system has the ability to limit the assembly of a locking dipstick to one radial position. The cap has an engagement end. A cup has a receiving end. The engagement end of the cap is removably sealably disposable in the receiving end of the cup. The lock system may include a pair of slots on the cap and a pair of lugs on the cup, and a tab on the cap and a shoulder/recess on the cup that cooperate to limit the system to one way assembly. The tab and recess also provide a visible lock indicator to confirm that the slots and lugs, which are not visible, are fully engaged and locked.

There is further provided an absorbent gel matrix for use in the treatment of uraemia and a haemodialysis filter comprising an absorbent gel matrix.
