  • Patent number: 5483316
Abstract: There is disclosed a film transport assembly for a film processing assembly comprised of a plurality of endless belts having film contact pins for positive processing of a film chip through portions of an automatic X-ray film processor assembly.

  • Patent number: 4760417
Abstract: A roll film processor for developing film wound into a roll. The processor has a plurality of substantially aligned tanks containing processing liquids. A removable film drive module having a "U" shaped section for each tank carries the film along a serpentine path through the tanks. Each "U" shaped section has down path leg for carrying the film into the liquid and an up path leg for carrying the film out of the liquid. The rollers for moving the film are positioned outside the liquid. Opposed "V" shaped grooves guide the edges of the film in the liquid. One of the grooves is on a front portion of the drive module and the other is on a rear portion. If a jam occurs, the film drive module is removed from the processor and opened by removing retainer clips by hand from retainer pins. The grooves are thereby separated allowing removal of the jammed film. Reassembly of the film drive module on the processor is facilitated by latitudinally flexible couplers for the module drive shafts.

  • Patent number: 4575209
Abstract: An apparatus for automatically processing film discs including a transport system for moving the discs through successive processing stations and a friction drive system for spinning the discs at each station for agitation and/or drying. The transport system utilizes a unique carrier spindle having a nipple on one end thereof upon which a group of film discs is removably mounted. The transport system successively transports a loaded carrier spindle from one processing station to the next. At some stations the carrier spindle is positioned so that the film discs carried thereby enter a liquid tank thereat and at other stations the spindle is positioned to facilitate disc drying. The friction drive system includes a drive belt which frictionally contacts the carrier spindle at each station for spin agitation and/or drying.

  • Patent number: 4032943
Abstract: A dental x-ray film processor system, including a developer processor and a magazine, for the automatic development of one or a plurality of standard sized dental x-ray films. The films can be of any of the three sizes which are generally designated as standard sizes and sizes can be mixed. The individual films need not be placed in the magazine dispenser in a contiguous manner; they can be placed in the dispenser in an intermittent fashion. The x-ray film processor is disposed to accept films from the magazine, one at a time, and to sequentially process the films through a developer bath, a fixer bath, a rinse bath and to dry the individual films before dispensing them one-by-one.
