Abstract: An implantable medical device for use as an artificial urinary bladder can include a collection container configured to be placed in a patient's abdominal cavity and a pump configured to be subcutaneously placed outside the abdominal cavity to allow the patient to perceive the need for urination and controls timing of the urination. Flexible tubing can connect the patient's ureters to the collection container, connect the collection container to the pump, and connect the pump to the patient's urethra, with unidirectional valves where needed, to allow for urination through the patient's natural urethra. The implantable medical device can optionally include a cleaning port and tubing connecting the cleaning port to the collection container for introducing a liquid cleaning agent into internal urination circuit of the device for cleaning, disinfection, and prevention of stone formation.

Abstract: A dispenser for tissue augmentation delivery. The dispenser includes a cannula that is prefilled with a bead composition for tissue augmentation. The bead composition is implanted into a patient's body. A plurality of beads are pumped out of the cannula via a delivery solvent, preferably in a single file configuration.

Abstract: A device and system to improve sexual intercourse by adjusting the diameter of the vaginal channel. In one embodiment, a vaginal strap comprises an implantable elongated semi-flexible biocompatible strap having a first and a second side. The strap further comprises a ribbed section, a middle section and a fastener section. The ribbed section comprises a plurality of parallel ribs and said fastener section comprises a fastener. The ribbed section engages said fastener, resulting in a circular loop that reduces vaginal diameter when implanted in a patient.

Abstract: A composition for purposes of augmentation contains a plurality of substantially spherical, biocompatible semi-solid beads each having a diameter in the range of about 1 millimeter to 10 millimeters. The composition also includes a delivery solvent for sanitary lubrication of the beads. An inventive system and method are utilized to systematically administer the composition into a patient's adipose tissue for customized augmentation. The system can comprise one or more dispensing apparatus, such as in the form of one or more pre-filled syringes. The size and number of pre-filled dispensing apparatus can be selected and organized into one or more kits for use in connection with a specific treatment or group of treatments. The inventive method involves selecting an insertion site in proximity to an identified target tissue, inserting the dispensing apparatus into the tissue through the insertion site, and infiltrating the composition into the tissue in a controlled manner.

A representation of at least some of the data from the database in unencrypted form is stored in volatile memory associated with the server. The wildcard search is performed on the representation. Search results are displayed to the user to allow the user to select database contents to be retrieved. The user's selection is retrieved from the database and decrypted. Finally, the unencrypted selection results are provided to the user.
