  • Publication number: 20220381059
Abstract: A handle for opening and closing a door of an aircraft is provided. The handle has a base part lockable to a rotatable shaft of an opening mechanism of the door, a hand gripping part connected to the base part, and a hinge connecting the base part to the hand gripping part to allow relative rotation of the hand gripping part with respect to the base part about a first axis. At least one seat is integral with the base part and at least one seat is integral with the hand gripping part, the seats being adjacent and aligned along a second axis parallel to the first axis. A mechanical fuse element of constraint is received in the seats, such that by applying to the hand gripping part a bending stress around the hinge greater than a predetermined threshold, the mechanical fuse element of constraint shears between the seats.

  • Publication number: 20090277996
Abstract: A leading edge structure is described for wing structures and empennage, comprising an outer shell suitable to define a front portion of a airfoil. The outer shell is formed by a bent plate of fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin composite material. The structure further comprises an inner shell having a convex profile that is oriented in the same direction as the profile of outer shell, which is formed by a bent plate of fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin composite material and is bonded to the outer shell at the longitudinal edges thereof, and at least one reinforcing element, transversally extending such as to connect the outer shell and inner shell to each other , which is formed by at least one piece of fiber-reinforced resin composite material and is fixed at opposite ends to the outer shell and inner shell, respectively.

  • Patent number: 4138568
Abstract: Process for the manufacture of benzimidazolones-(2) wherein an o-phenylenediamine is reacted with optionally alkylated urea in the ratio of 1 to 1.3 moles per mole o-phenylenediamine in an organic solvent which has a solubility in water of not more than 5 g/l and has a boiling point above 100.degree. C, at a temperature between 100.degree. and 200.degree. C.
