Abstract: This disclosure describes a power semiconductor module with at least one controlled power semiconductor bare die on an isolation substrate. The power semiconductor bare die includes a gate and a return control connection associated with pins that extend perpendicularly from the top of the power semiconductor bare die. One or more power terminals are connected to the isolation substrate.

Abstract: A rectifier circuit having a power factor correction and providing a DC output is disclosed. AC power having an AC oscillation is supplied at two or more AC inputs. The rectifier circuit includes at least two power factor correction stages which are directly coupled to one or more of the AC inputs, wherein each of the power factor correction stages controls a flow of current through the one or more coupled AC inputs so that the power factor is optimized. The power factor correction stages are designed to operate during different half waves of the AC oscillation with respect to one or more of the AC inputs.

Abstract: An electronic circuit is connected between input lines of an alternating input power supply and input lines of a boost converter to limit an input inrush current and/or an output short-circuit current supplied to the boost converter in a power supply. The electronic circuit includes a rectifier circuit to rectify alternating input current of the alternating current power supply, and a feedback circuit for feeding back a switching signal to the rectifier circuit circuit to switch the rectifier circuit on and off.
