The quick connect coupling (15) comprises a first and a second connecting part (15a or 15b) which can be releasably coupled along a coupling axis to transfer a hydraulic liquid. In order to avoid axial forces during coupling, the hydraulic liquid to be transferred, in the coupled state, emerges from the one connecting part (15a or 15b) at a right angle to the coupling axis and enters the other connecting part (15b or 15a) at a right angle to the coupling axis.

According to the invention, the structure of the indicator is simplified, compact and robust. This is achieved in that the optical display means comprise a front glass arranged perpendicular to the axis and one or several display elements which can be moved by the piston relative to said front glass and which respectively alternate at various pressures between a first position wherein they are optically visible from outside through the front glass and a second position wherein they are not optically visible from outside through the front glass.

    Abstract: A reducing valve for compressed gas bottles comprises a valve mechanism for compressed gas bottles which is disposed between a high pressure connection and a low pressure output, whereby an opening which is defined by a sealing edge is sealed by a valve cone which is impinged upon by a closing force and which is preferably provided with a seal; and wherein means are provided in order to compensate the pressure imposed upon the valve cone in the region of the opening, comprising a compensation piston which is impinged upon by a pressure of the same strength in the opposite direction. The inventive reducing valve has a simplified structure and assembly, in addition to providing a high degree of functional reliability by virtue of the fact that the compensation piston is embodied as a piston which can move relative to the valve cone.

In such a connection system an easy and rapid replacement or connection of cylinders is made possible, whilst leading to a high security against incorrect operation and faults and reliable handling and storage of the cylinders in that the pressure cylinder (5) with the check valve (4) and connecting device (2) are mechanically couplable in a common pivoting axis (34) located at right angles to and outside the central axis (6) and in the coupled state are connectable by a pivoting relative to one another about the pivoting axis (34).
